Yeah, it is really fun, I think. On the same property is also an indoor museum, as well as an IMAX theater attached to it.

Angel Spirit Girl 06-04-2011 07:51 PM

Our Imax theater is at our science center.

I have not had a picnic in forever. I think my girls would love to go one one some time.
I got sun burned yesterday while being in the pool for far too long.

Angel Spirit Girl 06-05-2011 05:13 PM

Ouch! It easy to get burned at the pool or beach.

femme gauche 06-05-2011 08:25 PM

There is also an IMAX theater at the science center, but that one is a dome theater, which can only play the movies which were filmed with the domed camera. The flat screen is newer, and will play 3-D and feature films in addition to the scientific or educational films.

Ginger 06-06-2011 12:22 AM

I haven't been to the IMAX in so long. I'd really like to go there with my boyfriend soon.

Angel Spirit Girl 06-06-2011 06:46 PM

Yup. Our science center has a domed screen.

Ginger 06-07-2011 02:00 AM

I can't even remember the last time I went.. lol. I also think a drive-in theater would be so cool. Just like the old days my parents knew =)

Angel Spirit Girl 06-07-2011 03:17 PM

I went to a drive in theater once. It was pretty cool.

femme gauche 06-08-2011 01:10 AM

I went to one a long time ago, when I was pretty little. Maybe... six or seven or something, I don't know. I saw Batman and Robin and... I forget what else. It was another Batman movie.

Ginger 06-08-2011 04:19 AM

Really? I haven't been to one yet ^^ I wanna see Kung Fu Panda 2. It looks way funnier than the first~

Angel Spirit Girl 06-08-2011 05:32 PM

*Lets butterflies land on her outstretched hands.*

I believe the movie I saw at the Drive In was a Batman movie, too.

It was a double feature, but I don't remember the other film.

Ginger 06-08-2011 05:35 PM

Batman and Robin is my favorite Batman movie. It's old school, but the action figures and toys for the movie were the best to play with from the movie series back in the day C:

femme gauche 06-08-2011 05:42 PM

That's funny! About the Batman thing, haha.

I like Christian Bale as him, and of course Heath Ledger was a legendary Joker, but... I don't have an objection to the other movies xP.

Ginger 06-08-2011 05:50 PM

The Scarecrow in The Dark Knight was pretty dang creepy.. that's the only thing I have against that one lol. It scares me >.<

Angel Spirit Girl 06-08-2011 05:52 PM

When I was little, I liked the Batman TV series. XD

The Scarecrow wasn't really in The Dark Knight; he was in the one before that, Batman Begins :).

@Angel: Haha cool.

Ginger 06-08-2011 05:56 PM

LOL I didn't even get the channel Batman was on xD We got channel 4, and sometimes if we were lucky we would get 2 or 6.

femme gauche 06-08-2011 05:57 PM

I don't know wha tthat means xD.

Ohhh yeah! I am getting my Batmans mixed up xD It's been a while since I've seen them. Thanks for reminding me ^_^

Angel Spirit Girl 06-08-2011 06:03 PM

I watched the TV show in re-runs after school.

Ginger 06-08-2011 06:12 PM

Re-runs aren't too bad, unless it's SpongeBob re-runs allll day long. I do like SpongeBob sometimes, just not repeats of him all day.

Angel Spirit Girl 06-08-2011 06:33 PM

Yeah. I'm not too into reruns.

I just wasn't old enough to watch the Batman TV show when it was new.

Ginger 06-08-2011 06:45 PM

90's cartoons were seriously bomb. I loved being a 90's kid.

femme gauche 06-09-2011 12:09 AM

No problem, Ginger ;).

I was never a fan of Spongebob.

Ginger 06-09-2011 03:40 AM

Yes.. he gets repetitive, loud, and annoying. My boyfriend's brother watches it and it makes me cringe when I hear it O.o

What shows do you like to watch if you watch television? Are there any movies you enjoy?

Angel Spirit Girl 06-09-2011 07:18 PM

80's toons were the bestest!! ^.~

Spongebob is only occasionally non-annoying - the first time you see the episode. o.0

Ginger 06-10-2011 01:12 PM

Exactly! After I see the episode, I never want to see it again. There are new episodes on Netflix apparently.

dragoness129 06-10-2011 01:42 PM

Death, death, death to the Sponge!

Angel Spirit Girl 06-10-2011 10:25 PM

Yeah. He's annoying. I only liked the special with David Hasslehoff in it.

Ginger 06-12-2011 12:54 PM

They should have done a special with Chuck Norris. That would have been pretty funny lol.

Today we clean house.. Yay! Lmao. Ah well.. It has to be done so =)

Angel Spirit Girl 06-12-2011 09:59 PM

The one with the Hasslehoff bit part in it was cute, but Chuck Norris would have been fun, too.

femme gauche 06-13-2011 08:27 PM

I like movies, and I like television comedies - like Modern Family, Psych, Monk... I have been watching Bones on Netflix, and watched what was available of Dexter.

Angel Spirit Girl 06-13-2011 08:56 PM

I like crime dramas like CSI and Bones and Criminal Minds.

Ginger 06-14-2011 03:23 AM

Angel, have you heard of Without a Trace? I think that one is a pretty good crime drama of the ones I have seen.

Angel Spirit Girl 06-14-2011 01:17 PM

Yup. I have watched that one. ^.^ It is pretty good, too.

I just thought naming all the ones I could think of would be quite a list.

femme gauche 06-14-2011 09:50 PM

Yeah, the dramas are a little too... dramatic for me. Whenever all that drama comes up in any show, especially relationship drama and the like, I tend to lose interest... But even if it isn't relationship drama, I need a little humor in general.

Angel Spirit Girl 06-15-2011 07:30 PM

I like a bit of humor in my shows, too - including dramas.

femme gauche 06-15-2011 09:56 PM

It's hard to deal with your emotions being assaulted without any kind of relief, haha. I like to watch t.v. and whatnot for entertainment, and generally that means I don't want to add complication to my mind XD. I like Psych because it is smart-ass and chock full of pop culture references.

Ginger 06-16-2011 12:03 AM

I actually kinda like dramas. They remind me that I'm not the only one who experiences rough patches, even though tv shows aren't real unless it's reality. Even then it feels like the people on the shows put on an act for ratings.
