Wicked 09-15-2011 01:37 AM

Heh. Well I'm home now.
It was busy tonight so I got offline shortly after that post.

Sadrain 09-15-2011 11:15 AM

-lurks trough, humming-

Feythfull 09-15-2011 04:25 PM

*looks around* no one here

Wicked 09-15-2011 06:23 PM

It's really busy at work so I won't be on much at all tonight.

Feythfull 09-15-2011 07:49 PM

Wicked was it you who said you liked me heels and wanted a pare? I remember someone said that I can't remember who.

Wicked 09-16-2011 01:30 AM

Wasn't me - don't get me wrong I like them just fine
but tis not me you're thinking of. <3

Nommy 09-16-2011 09:42 AM

Holy wow! Thanks so much!
That's very sweet and nice to meet you. Haha.

Course it would be plenty nice to meet you without the donation but now it's like

Thanks again.

*runs around all excited*

Serra Britt 09-16-2011 08:21 PM

Looks like your quest is moving along nicely there, Wicked :3

Feythfull 09-16-2011 08:39 PM

Don't run with scissors

Wicked 09-16-2011 09:14 PM

Yes! I need to figure out what to actively quest for now.
I never imagined the bakeneko would be so readily available.

There's always the yearlies but part of me wants
to hold off on them until I can donate to the site directly.

Don't run with scissors? Pfft. Never understood that.

*stabs self*

Oh! Well. Quite clear now.

Serra Britt 09-16-2011 09:25 PM

Your new outfit looks lovely, Wicked :3

Since you found the Bakeneko so quick it half makes me want to look for a Kitsune again...

Wicked 09-17-2011 01:11 AM

Thanks! I wasn't too confident with the new look.
I'd like something to go over the belly.
haha even on my avatar I don't feel comfy being too revealing.
I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly I found the bakeneko.

You should go for it Serra!
Getcha kitsune.

Serra Britt 09-17-2011 01:21 AM

You could get a corset, maybe? Not sure what else would look that good across the belly... Maybe an obi, but that's only on Zephyr's Companion I think ><

Wicked 09-17-2011 01:52 AM

I have a corset that kind of works but there's this little bit of flesh between the bottom of the corset and the top of the skirt. It bugs me. So I'll just "let it all hang out" as it were. For now. ><

Serra Britt 09-17-2011 01:59 AM

Hmm ~

Maybe a plain shirt underneath? I'll admit I like showing my belly here, not so much in real life...

Feythfull 09-17-2011 04:12 PM

lol i show a lot on this site I wouldn't in life either.

Wicked 09-18-2011 07:38 PM

I'm back! Awesome weekend but I'm kind of glad to be home.

Feythfull 09-18-2011 08:53 PM

where did you go?

Wicked 09-18-2011 08:58 PM

Spent the bulk of the weekend at my best friend's house. He lives so far away! Only two hours really but it's next to impossible for my husband and I to have the same days off and to make our way out there.

We set this up over two months ago. I put in a request for Sat. off and Sun (tonight) to be an overnight shift so we could make it happen. Had such a good time. I got to drive part of the way and I NEVER get to drive. Husband's car is a stick shift and I refuse to learn but we gotta rental this weekend so drivies!

I learned how to shoot a gun this weekend.

Feythfull 09-18-2011 09:03 PM

what did you shoot?

Wicked 09-18-2011 09:30 PM

Targets! Heh. My bestie used to work for DISH network
so he has all these old satellite dishes in his basement.
He set them up and we shot holes through them.

The gun I used most was Jason's (that's my husband's name)
It's a 9mm rifle.. I think. Haha I'm bad with the names of things. And he's napping so I can't ask him to clarify.

I also tried my friend's .22 but I didn't do as well with that one. Missed more than I hit.
Could be the distance we were standing from the dishes.

I want my own gun now. ><

Serra Britt 09-18-2011 09:33 PM

My grandpa took me shooting when I was...16 I think? No, it must have been 18...well, it was a while. I could consistently hit a target from 200 feet but I didn't enjoy it all that much...

Wicked 09-18-2011 09:36 PM

I grew up around guns, my grandpa is a gun nut enthusiast
but I never ever shot one before this weekend. Part of the appeal for me is probably that I waited 25 years to pick one up!

Serra Britt 09-18-2011 09:42 PM

My grandpa is too, he even made his own ammunition. He had me shot a handgun too but that had too much kick for me to be accurate.

Feythfull 09-18-2011 09:43 PM

I have never even touched a gun before.

Wicked 09-18-2011 09:44 PM

Our Grandpas should hang out. ><
Gramps made my mom a silver bullet, because they had a long running joke about werewolves. I'd like to learn to make my own ammo because if I'm going to get into this whooo those bullets are 'spensive!

I hadn't before this weekend.
Kind of shocked that I went ahead and gave shooting a try.
I don't like to try new things, especially in front of other people.
It's like I know making mistakes is a part of learning and i hate for people to see me fail. That's why I have issues with public speaking - had to do some of THAT this weekend. We were having a religious ceremony and they needed a fourth speaker and no one else would step up so I kind of had to. *cringe* Still alive though!

Serra Britt 09-18-2011 09:49 PM

That was pretty much my first time with a gun too. Rifles are a lot easier to use but I can see how a handgun might be better for portability.

Wicked 09-18-2011 09:54 PM

Makes sense. I don't really see myself carrying one around though.
Kind of can't in this state anyway.

Feythfull 09-18-2011 10:05 PM

Can't anywhere in this country. Unless you are a cop. That and hunting but thats not caring one around.

Wicked 09-18-2011 10:12 PM

You can get carry concealed permits in Missouri.
And I think Texas. I'm sure about Missouri though because that's where I was this weekend and one of the guys out at my friend's house showed me his permit. You have to take a class on gun safety and pass a background check.

Anyway, I wouldn't feel comfortable carrying one even if I could in Illinois.
Working overnights though.. it wouldn't be the worst idea. I'll just keep carrying my mace and taser. The taser isn't technically legal or illegal kind of a gray area. The local police know I have mine and they're outlook is if I need it and I have it - gravy. No crime in defending myself. If I use it "for fun" my ass is getting locked up fast. I'd never do that!

Feythfull 09-18-2011 11:06 PM

Tazers aren't legal in this country either unless you area cop. No guns, not tazers and no mace. No clubs, or battons, or knives. No weapons whats so ever!

Wicked 09-18-2011 11:32 PM

Thing about that is.. the people who would attack you
aren't going to sweat the illegality of weapons.

Feythfull 09-19-2011 10:49 AM

That is true. Very true. Though it might stop a few people then if it were legal

Fiyero 09-19-2011 01:45 PM

*wiggles in*

sorry I havent been on...Im like..hardcore busy D:

Wicked 09-19-2011 07:35 PM

Just glad you found time. Quite the army of Ankas you've got there!

Feythfull 09-19-2011 07:57 PM

I tried to use the Anka but it stole my spotlight!

Wicked 09-19-2011 10:28 PM

Anka stole the spotlight from a crazy rave-disco a go go pixie? oO
