*Smiles brightly*
I'm glad you're doing well.
*gently places her hands in Lauv's*

It's a pleasure, I think we've stumbled into each other before? ^^ There isn't much going on here at the moment, so feel free to talk about whatever you like. Cake and good conversation is always great.

-blushes again and walks with her-
Thankies...and and uhm...I don't really know what to talk about...
how've you been?

Alice Ann 10-10-2011 09:46 AM

I've been well. ^^
Mostly working on some larger projects. It's a royal headache, but I love it. I can't complain .... hmmm let's see. Making chicken soup for dinner, the earlier to start on the broth the better, so it's boiling about now. Aside from that, I'm not doing anything amazing either.
How are you? Anything fun going on?

Lauv Keiko 10-10-2011 09:49 AM

It's dinner over where you are now? -blinks-
And are you still in school? :3

Well, me...I'm just hanging out here...earning aurums and trying to learn some korean words. ;^;

Alice Ann 10-10-2011 10:06 AM

*giggles*
Nope, the soup was put on at uhhh 5am? The longer you let the chicken boil the more rich the broth, I won't have to add any stock or canned broth this way. It also will get the chicken super tender.

Let's see... I don't know a lot of Korean, I do know a lot of Japanese, though it's more phonics based. The best way to learn any language is to take it slowly. Korean can get complicated fast if you do not have formal training.

Oooh, traditional way, huh ^^ that would totally taste really good ^^ My mom used to do that >.> now I do the job. :3

and and, I do know a lot of japanese too^^ I only want to learn korean words because I teach english to Koreans and I have to learn some korean words for them to understand.

Alice Ann 10-10-2011 10:14 AM

Oh, that is so spiffy! Also very sweet of you. The site I linked you too actually has a list of commonly used words so that should help you out even just a little. I've been teaching myself Japanese for a wide range of reasons. I can read, and write it as well, though I'm still only semi-fluent.
Yes, my family does a lot of cooking from scratch - we're from southern Ohio, enough said. ^^;

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...rayed/Lazy.gifhttp://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...ngonmoon-1.gifhttp://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...rayed/Lazy.gif

Hehe, not so cool though if they're just staring at you...It kind of freaks me out >A<
And I'll surely use those sites for them ^^ that is if they forget to bring their electronic dictionary.

Oh~ that's nice :3 cooking food from scratch tastes better and it's even healthier~ :3
how old are you, btw?

Alice Ann 10-10-2011 10:32 AM

^^; Yeah, at the very least the site will be a good quick reference for you when you're at home or what not.

Yup yup~ cooking from scratch defiantly has it's upsides.
Ah~ I'm pretty "old" I'm 26. I'm an artist, I'll spare the details for you.

Lauv Keiko 10-10-2011 10:37 AM

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...rayed/Lazy.gifhttp://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...ngonmoon-1.gifhttp://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...rayed/Lazy.gif

-nods- Mhmmm~ thankies so much ^^

Oh, that's not so old -huggles- and and, what kind of artist? -blinks, all interested now-

Alice Ann 10-10-2011 10:48 AM

Oh thank you~
Well, long story short. I'm a manga artist to put it lightly, I do actual commission work, I've also worked for galleries. I also work on second life, I worked for archaic jump productions briefly as a voice actor. On rare occasions I also model.
There's more to it then just that - I'm a jack of trades in a since, though I feel like I'm bragging. I don't really like talking about what I do. It's very strange you strive for something your entire life and when you get it you feel a little ashamed.

Lauv Keiko 10-10-2011 10:54 AM

Alice Ann 10-10-2011 11:11 AM

*blushes a little too*
Yeah I started when I was about 12/14 somewhere in there. I was very young, anything I know I had to teach myself, there's more to the story then that but I'm not comfortable talking about it in a public area. It's been wild and unbelievable to say the least.

Lauv Keiko 10-10-2011 11:14 AM

Alice Ann 10-10-2011 11:16 AM

*laughs*
Sure, I'd be happy too.
Now then! *offers some more cake* What do you do, I mean aside from teach? I have to admit it sounds entertaining to teach a language "blind folded".

Lauv Keiko 10-10-2011 11:21 AM

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...rayed/Lazy.gifhttp://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...ngonmoon-1.gifhttp://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...rayed/Lazy.gif

well...not really blind folded...
It's like teaching an old dog new tricks...it's so hard and exhausting...
-takes a big bite out of the cake-

Alice Ann 10-10-2011 11:23 AM

*nods* I can't imagine teaching a language and having to explain it in another. My hat is defiantly off to you~<3
*pours some fresh tea* Are you actually living in Korea at the moment? I don't mean to pry, just curious.

Lauv Keiko 10-10-2011 11:26 AM

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...rayed/Lazy.gifhttp://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...ngonmoon-1.gifhttp://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...rayed/Lazy.gif

Hah, You can ask me any question~ :3 Nope, I live here in Philippines, it's the koreans who go here to study. Odd thing is, I can teach English but I can't teach my own language XD

and and, there's a radio station here who's looking for junior jocks and I was thinking that I'd give it a shot -shrug-

Alice Ann 10-10-2011 11:31 AM

Oh that's /really/ cool. I know I couldn't teach a language at all, well maybe some basics but it's a difficult thing to do.

Oooh~ a friend of mine used to work for a radio station years ago, he loved it! You should try it out, I've only ever made mixes for little get togethers. But being an actual DJ seems like it'd be fun~ if nothing else it'd be a good experience to try out.

Lauv Keiko 10-10-2011 11:39 AM

http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...rayed/Lazy.gifhttp://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...ngonmoon-1.gifhttp://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...rayed/Lazy.gif

Language is kinda like my forte >A< and I strive to learn more -eager mcbeaver face-

and and, I should! I just have to update my resume and flower some words and try to be as nice as I could >.> and then act dumb XD

Alice Ann 10-10-2011 11:43 AM

*giggles!*
That is so awesome~
My Resume... ugh, I don't even want to /think/ about it. It's in such a state of mess at the moment. I don't think I've updated it since, something like 2008? ^^;
I was going to apply for a job at Bathesda, but it fell through, we ended up staying here in Ohio rather then moving to Maryland. So my papers ended up being fully outdated out of sheer laziness.
In short resumes make me grumpy.

Lauv Keiko 10-10-2011 11:48 AM

Alice Ann 10-10-2011 11:51 AM

This will sound bizarre, but the Bathesda game company is actually made of up of uhhhh... i think 9 [more or less] companies. It's actually a video game umbrella company - so i was going to apply through ZeniMax and basically say "put me somewhere", well in nicer more professional terms then that; since I qualify for a lot of their positions. Though my base was a concept artist job. I'm slightly sad, I don't think they are going to do anymore Falloutgames, though I'm excited about Skyrim. I think working for a company like that would be insanely cool.

Lauv Keiko 10-10-2011 11:53 AM

Alice Ann 10-10-2011 11:58 AM

Oh! I'm so sorry! Bathesda, is a very very large game company they make the Elder scrolls and Fallout series [part of it anyways], which are glorified sandbox RPGs.
Morrowind, and Oblivion are the really popular ones. I think they use the Havok game physics engine. Anyways their big babies are rpgs, normally they have really open stories and some really great artwork.
They are an America baised company. I'm not sure how popular they are else wehre though.

Ah, I just saw your message, do you have to be leaving? I actually have a bunch of junk I need to install and need to get going myself.

Angel Spirit Girl 10-10-2011 05:32 PM

Lost_Ninja9213 10-11-2011 05:23 PM

Angel Spirit Girl 10-11-2011 05:38 PM

Lost_Ninja9213 10-11-2011 07:28 PM
