"they wouldn't rip my guts out, i'd basically turn into a tree ..give or take not sure the affect on a half blood.." He shrugged a little. "besides im not rolling over cause i want to! Id have no damn choice, they have the power over all of the dryads hell i could drop at any given moment just because they see fit it be so."

Though after she started talking he blinked a little that wasn't expected not from a fairy. "heh.. calm down.. even if they did do something to me you have no reason to start a war between fairies and the remaining dryads. I'm far from worth that." He smirked a little before moving and placing a hand lightly on her shoulder before squeezing it gently. "it'll work out, how ever the goddess see fit no need to get worked up over something I brought upon myself."

Maniacal_Moon 11-01-2011 06:03 PM

Dalea looked at him, like she had to protect him because he didn't believe he could himself. There were several things she'd heard of that seperated dryads from the elders, letting them be truely free. Since he was part human, it would just help his chances. She looked at him, then sighed. "I don't want anything like a war happening. Ever since I let you go, I was acting of my own free will. You know that, right?"

Rosekitten 11-01-2011 06:08 PM

"I know, if i didn't think that from the start you wouldn't have been able to follow me..." He smirked a little "you know im right" Leaning back he sighed a little "I don't think they'd end my breath.. though im hardly free from whatever punishment they think up.. that i know."

Maniacal_Moon 11-01-2011 06:13 PM

Dalea looked at him, unsure now. She chewed on her lip for a moment. "I've heard of a few ways to rid dryad's ties to the elder." She hoped that he didn't think she was insane.

Rosekitten 11-01-2011 06:20 PM

With what she said he stood again finally, seeming to have enough of this conversation already. "I've heard of such rumors yes.. i've also heard of the tales of such attempts failing and the effects of the failures.. heh" he laughed weakly not liking the sound of that idea too much. "I think your over worrying.. we can fret about ti after we hear their answer instead of before."

Maniacal_Moon 11-01-2011 06:29 PM

Dalea rose with him, listening but thinking of other ways. "But you're half human, it wouldn't effect you as much." She even thought he'd live through it. He might even be able to live away from his tree. She went and picked up her clothes, careful to make sure the seed was still inside.

Rosekitten 11-01-2011 08:53 PM

He was moving but as soon as she said the word human he stopped and shot a threatening glare at her. "are you even suggesting that I go live among those beings?! I think i'd rather take my chances with the elders." He did seem a bit annoyed she'd even mention the human blood he had, he was hardly proud of it and so far it had done him no favors. He sighed finally after a few moments before speaking again. "if i lose the dryad half of me then i'll lose everything i even begin to care about.. i wouldn't be allowed in the forest.. the connection i have with nature. I couldn't live with myself if i lose it..."

Maniacal_Moon 11-01-2011 10:37 PM

Dalea flinched at his look and tone. She looked hurt and took a step back away from him. After he was done, she nodded slightly. "I understand. If someone stripped me of my heritage, I'd...well, I won't go into that." She finally looked up at him, desperation in her eyes. "I am only trying to find a way to help you." He didn't seem to understand that throwing away his life like that wouldn't just effect him.

Rosekitten 11-01-2011 11:10 PM

"I know your trying to help.. as i said at worse they'll say i have to go through training or some task that could possibly kill me." He waved a hand lazily in the air at the thought. "If they really decide to end my breath we can worry about what to do then, personally though I say I don't care I'd rather not cease to exist. Not knowing your kind is blind to the humans destroying the very forest they live in." He smirked a little it wasn't directed really at her but he had a point, the fairies tried to keep peace but in doing so they were letting the humans do as they pleased.

Maniacal_Moon 11-01-2011 11:26 PM

Dalea let her wings unfold, letting them flutter slightly. She'd heard an insult in there, but knew that it was true. Her kind let humans run rampant because they didn't want to go back to the old ways. They didn't want war. She sighed and nodded. Even though she hated killing, sometimes thats what it took to protect your family. She held out her hand to him, a serious look. "I want to make an apology. For our idleness. I know I cannot bring back those who have passed on and races that have dwindled or vanished. But, I will do my best to restore our world. No matter what the cost."

Rosekitten 11-01-2011 11:35 PM

He listened to her, maybe he'd work with this one. It seemed she was willing to work with the same goal he wanted, truth be told he didn't want to kill all of the humans but maybe remind them that the world did flourish at one time and magic was common placed, not just elven either. "I said that a long time ago.. maybe we can use that as a excuse for the elders to not skin my hide eh? Say we're going to re-educate the mortals." He half laughed at it but took her hand either way. "This does not mean im going to give in to whatever you say either so don't get your hopes up."

Maniacal_Moon 11-01-2011 11:39 PM

Dalea put on a mask of happy thoughts, but made it look like he'd foiled her plot. "Darn. I was hoping that would've worked." She shrugged and looked at him, with a tilted head. She hadn't let go of his hand yet, then smiled. "I have a secret." Then she let go of his hand and started dressing herself, finding that she was dry enough.

Rosekitten 11-01-2011 11:49 PM

Rolled his eyes a little at her voice knowing she wasn't being serious with her answer. "Yeah real shame, i know how much fun a dryad servant sounds." Though once she was starting to dress and she spoke before he glanced at her quickly before shaking his head. "not asking. I know how this game is played, you'll lead it on for forever if I ask what it is."

Maniacal_Moon 11-01-2011 11:53 PM

Dalea chuckled. "I actually didn't want you to ask. Wasn't going to tell, because its not the right time. Just wanted you to know that I've got one." Or two, she thought to herself. But when she was dressed, she smiled and stretched. "That was a nice detour. Well, off to the road again."

Rosekitten 11-01-2011 11:57 PM

"Exactly why I didn't ask, not going to lose any rest over it either in the least." He turned to start walking off with that, she was done dressing anyway so they might as well get back to what they were suppose to be doing. "eh.. wasn't bad.. could have been better." He never went into details as to what he meant by that and if she asked he wasn't telling her. "Though our next stop me and you both are going to detest with a passion."

Maniacal_Moon 11-02-2011 12:05 AM

Dalea wasn't known for not picking at someone until they spilled their guts. She moved up next to him, curiousity aflame in her eyes. "What could have made if better? Please tell me, for future reference." She was confused at first as to what he meant by their next stop, but she knew what he spoke of. She knew of someone that had been sent this far out, but he wasn't the most...polite person.

Rosekitten 11-02-2011 12:13 AM

"walked into that now didn't i.." he sighed a little knowing better then to open his mouth. "Like i'd tell you miss 'I have a secret' I'm allowed my own." He smirked slightly keeping his pace as he walked, he wasn't going to tell her though he did curse his human blood for saying such a thing aloud. As far as where they were headed, there was a human town they'd have to cross to get to the pathway to even begin to get near one of the first mountain ranges. Also known fact, humans hated things that were different.

Maniacal_Moon 11-02-2011 12:21 AM

Dalea sighed, then pouted. "Thats not fair. Mine is an important secret. You'll find out soon though. Its hardly avoidable." Not now that they had to go through the human city. She cursed her luck, not even two days with this dryad and she'd revealed two secrets about herself already.

Rosekitten 11-02-2011 12:24 AM

"eh in due time or not, as i said not worried about it and won't be losing rest over it. Nor will saying yours is important make me tell you my thoughts." He smirked slightly looking towards her. "pouting over it won't get the answer either, being part human does not mean i am that much of a sucker.." He was only slightly concerned with the human town, one if there was a wizard there then both of them would be easily detected.. wizards were some of the humans he trusted the least out of them all, selling out other magic beings just because they are human and others are not.

Maniacal_Moon 11-02-2011 12:29 AM

Dalea sighed and made circles around him as he walked. She was bored. She wanted to know his little secret wish, but she knew that he wouldn't tell her. She wondered if she introduced him to her friend if he would be happier. But, the way he felt about being part human wouldn't put the best light on her friend.

Rosekitten 11-02-2011 07:38 AM

"It's killing you sin't it." He half laughed a little watching her almost pace at the fact he wasn't telling her. "Trust me it's nothing you want to hear, personally it's something i would have rather not thought of either." He'd probably if he could help it not tell her, though he had a feeling this could get worse and if she really wanted the information she could force it out of him. Though it was worth it to see her nearly pacing wanting to know.

Maniacal_Moon 11-02-2011 08:04 AM

Dalea blinked, then nodded. She flew in faster circles around him. "Please, tell me? Please...please please please!" She begged, thoguht she was kinda happy.

Rosekitten 11-02-2011 05:33 PM

"Not happening.. not in a million years. Nothing important or anything you need to know anyway." He tilted his head a little, this was almost fun though he could see this getting annoying very quickly. "why do you want to know so bad anyway?" He never mentioned that most of them were thoughts that were probably corrupted by his human half, but still.

Maniacal_Moon 11-02-2011 05:49 PM

Dalea was still circling him, but a little slower now. "Well, because I want to know. I want to make it so the next time we can relax, that you'll have more fun." She did want him to have fun, but there was a deep curiousity as to why he was hiding it so.

Rosekitten 11-02-2011 09:31 PM

"leave it at the fact I had fun... Besides the odds of a next time between here and our destination are rather slim." He sighed a little seeing as she was still waiting for a real answer. "we'll put it this way its far from important for starters, and it's nothing i'd expect from anyone so thus not important, merely thoughts that I wish I could force from my mind tis all." He didn't care really how much she bugged him, he wasn't telling her, not when he could blame the human half of himself for probably 90% of the thoughts, let alone opening his damn mouth in the first place.

Maniacal_Moon 11-02-2011 10:57 PM

Dalea finally got the hint that he wasn't going to her anything. His bottled up, reclusive nature was something she'd have to get used to. When he said he could force the thoughts from his mind, that got her thinking. Well, pertaining to her nature, her thoughts went spiraling down the gutter. This made her grin, then she stopped and sat on his back like he was giving her a piggy back ride. She put her mouth right next to his ear. "Those thoughts of yours wouldn't happen to be...anything...inticing, would it?" She breathed over his ear seductively. She was playing to his human half, wondering what response she would get from him. If he acted like she thought he would, then she was right.

Rosekitten 11-03-2011 12:34 AM

He glared at her a little, her words hardly helping. Though he was trying to ignore her actions. Finally rolling his eyes he sighed a little. "you'd love to know that wouldn't you? As I stated not telling you, I have a bit more control over any unwanted thoughts then you think." Though to admit it to himself it was taunting and trying to ignore her for much longer was going to be more annoying then ever. "Why would you ask such a thing anyway? Tsk, dryads don't have such thoughts and trying to pry it from my human half isn't going to work so easily." He still was taking bets that she was toying with him, she had been this whole time he bet anything, even that little fluke back at the river.

Maniacal_Moon 11-03-2011 12:45 AM

Dalea circled around him so she was hanging on his front, smiling a little up at him. She felt like a child, but she certainly didn't look like one at that moment. "Now, what makes you think that I can't get it from you?" Then she looked sort of hurt. "And I wouldn't have asked if I wasn't curious. I predict every situation that might occur because of my actions. And, you even thinking of that made me think if I was willing to do that sort of thing, which I decided." She wouldn't tell him if he hadn't figured it out, but she also wouldn't tell him unless he asked. Which, he wouldn't because he was too prideful.

Rosekitten 11-03-2011 10:51 AM

"what makes me think you can't? Because i know very well you want to know.. aside from that it's more fun to watch you plead for me to tell you." He laughed slightly knowing it was a little cruel but it'd bother her till he told her, really it didn't have to be her at all any fairy would have nearly done the same ... maybe not in this manner. "How about we drop the topic and leave well enough be eh?" Really he knew sooner or later he was going to lose this battle, if she really wanted to know she could get the information out of him.

Maniacal_Moon 11-03-2011 11:12 AM

Dalea just watched him as he yet again denied her what she wanted. He was very good at resisting her. She was trying to play to his human side, but apparantly his dryad half was more awake. She looked at him more alurringly and reached up to trace her finger along his jaw, moving near his lips and finally down his chest as she spoke. "Now, Var, my dear. I know you wish to see how far I would go to get this bit of information." Her voice was a little thick, like she was trying to control herself and not do too much. "But, I will not harm you....but there are other ways of getting it out of you..." She whispered the last bit with a hint of a promise.

Rosekitten 11-03-2011 11:30 AM

He seemed to flinch slightly at her touch, what was she trying to do why did she care to get what he meant by his words out so badly. "heh.. i think that worries me more then just you pleading for me to tell you... " Though he quickly went back to trying to ignore her and what she was doing. "but im still not telling as i stated it's not important and has nothing to do with this journey." He needed to watch her, really he needed a excuse to pry her off, that'd help more then anything.

Maniacal_Moon 11-03-2011 12:09 PM

Dalea semmed to become more persuasive as her hands seemed to roam over him. "Well, maybe what you need to tell me is important." She grinned, the purred the next words into his ear. "It would help me please you..." She was actually becoming aroused by this, so she hoped he told her soon or she'd have to leave and regain control.

Rosekitten 11-03-2011 12:29 PM

He seemed to stop as she went on still trying to pry the information from him. He seemed a bit nervous about her and her current actions, let alone her wanting to please him as she put it. He finally did pry her off of him before he started walking again. "your job isn't to please me, nor am i telling you what you want to know for that very reason." Really she did make him nervous he had dealt with fairies before but she was persistent.. very.

Maniacal_Moon 11-03-2011 12:42 PM

When he pryed her off of him, she blinked in surprise. Then she just floated there and watched him. Her eyes wandered as he walked away from her. She smiled to herself, she'd gotten to him. She would've gotten it out of him eventually. She just continued flying behind him for awhile, admiring his physical attributes. Then she blinked when she remembered his words. "Why wouldn't you want me to please you?"

Rosekitten 11-03-2011 12:50 PM

He glared back at her with the sudden question from her. "because.. as i said not your duty nor is it something i am looking for." He never said it wasn't something he thought of but it had been the information she had been trying to pry out of him this whole time, but he seemed to dodge the question like the plague. "besides faeries should keep such thoughts to their own kind instead of trying to torment other beings around them."

Maniacal_Moon 11-03-2011 12:57 PM

Dalea blinked and stopped when he turned around. She was a couple feet from him, but his words seemed to knock her thoughts away. Torment? Was that what she had done? Her wings drooped saddingly as she set her feet on the ground. "I apologize." She now looked at the ground as her wings twitched slightly. She had never thought of her flirtatious nature as tormenting.

Rosekitten 11-03-2011 07:28 PM

He paused seeing as he had started walking again and looked at her. "why are you sorry?" He blinked a few times confused at her words. "You din't do anything to really be sorry for.. it's just a bit cruel to toy with someones emotions for the simple fact of gathering information." He never had a second thought on any of her actions as far as them meaning more or maybe she wasn't just tormenting or toying with him, it was a fairy after all and she was still going to have to gain his trust.

Maniacal_Moon 11-03-2011 10:32 PM

Dalea looked up at him, the most serious look in her eyes that he'd seen. "There is something to apologize for. I am sorry that I didn't even notice that my actions would torment you. I did not mean for such a thing to accure from my actions. I just...I was never told that I was tormenting someone when I acted such to find something out. You're the first."

Rosekitten 11-04-2011 12:29 AM

He had to laugh slightly at being told he was the first to tell her. "not to be rude but if thats how you go about getting information I won't be the last either." He did find it a bit funny though, but he still didn't think there was anything to really say sorry for. "If you didn't know then then you don't have to say sorry for it, let alone no harm was done and you still never got the information you wanted." He smirked a little once he was done.

Maniacal_Moon 11-04-2011 12:45 AM

Dalea blinked at him once he start laughing. She thought what he said made sense, but there was something flawed in his reasoning. She moved up to him and looked up into his eyes. "What do you like about me?" She wasn't going to ask to opposite question. That had too many answers.
