*Hugs thread* I'm surprised to see that no one has yet to enter the contest, Dark. You have a pretty awesome prize.

I'm working in a new shading technique~ I don't have a piece I can show off yet, but it is going okay so far. I'm doing it for Broken Muse's^ real life character for her group RP. I have decided that anything besides full frontal is a pain and will have a limit of at least three days to make any character that needs more then a full frontal and a background.

EDIT: I got the rough sketch done! This took forever and it isn't even all that decent...

I get the feeling I'm talking to myself and no one really cares...
Anywho, I had some fun with a new program on my sister's computer and came up with this: Could anyone give me some tips to improve on it?


And I'm reworking Angel's art in attempt to soft shade it. Hard but I think she'll like it.

What is it you are interested in improving on?

The whole general thing. Shading, proportions, placement. ect... Any type of critism will do.

I was asked for chibi and tried to deliver but apparently chibi isn't for me. And what's with the eyes? They were the kind wanted but they just look freaky to me...



And on another note, when I finally scan it in you can see the WIP for the pic I promised you two for helping out Musey.

For chibi rule of thumb in body is twice the length of head, so make the head and face first then do the body.

Stupid chibis D: How ndo you make a body that small without shrinking the neck though?

Actually, I'd personally start with drawing a dynamic body first, then draw an imaginary circle around that body and move that circle up to where the head should be - now draw the circle for reals :)

:confused: That baffled me, Baffle. I got the draing body bit but the imaginary circles through me.

Thank you very much, Arckii. And you're welcome for the picture, it was surprisingly fun to draw. I'll work on cleaning it up and fixing a few minor errors then post the completed version.
