Shadow shakes his head as if snapping out of it "its not important whats important is who i am today." Shadow nods and looks out the window wishing for a flare. "I hope your sister is alright"

"Chloe will be fine," Avalon's cell phone suddenly lets out a beep, telling her that an incoming text was on the way. Pulling the phone from her pocket while keeping her eyes on the road, she opens the text. "She says they are heading for the hospital, something about they plan to disable the elevators.. guess zombies know how to work those, eh?"

Lance blinked "since when do zombies know how to do anything?" he looked at her curiously. "Well i guess that smart except it will be hard to escape.. " Lance shrugged and pointed at a building that said Guns and ammo.. "Wait is that an ammo supply store?"

"Who knows? I'm not the zombie expert, now am I?" Avalon shoots back, "Looks like it." She pulls the car up to the store and puts it into idle.

Shadow opens the Rv car door and slips out this place was empty no zombies in sight.. "Hmm, Avalon if you want to get some fresh air you can " He said as he walked inside the store it was filled with guns and ammo "eh..." this didn't seem real it was almost like a dream it was all still here?

Turning off the engine, Avalon does as Shadow suggested. She leans against the car door, typing out a text back to Chloe before typing out another to Roz's dad. Maybe this infection hadn't made it any farther than America and he was fine..
She already knew what it was like to lose the only parent you had known at a young age and Roz wasn't blood and flesh like Avalon was to Chloe.

She didn't know much about Shadow but hell, he was like a kid in a candy store when he had entered that ammo shop...

Lance walked into the store pulling out a duffle bag from on the shelves and filling it with 50.cal hollow point and armor piercing rounds. Although zombies where fleshy creatures and armor piercing where not need you never knew when you might need those kind of bullets.

He ran across a set of machete on the wall and smirked. He knew exactly who would love those. He grabbed them and the leg holsters that came with them and tied them around his legs. he continued through the store picking up 9mm clips and a brand new 9mm pistol placing it in the holster his usual engraved one sat. As he finished he walked out opening the drivers door to the Rv and hopping in with a huge smiled on his face "Well Shadow your gonna be slaughtering alot more than the last town."

Avalon glances up as Shadow comes out of the store with a huge smile on his face, well.. that was one person she knew what to get this Christmas for, and hops into the driver's seat, well, so much for her driving. She rolls her eyes, taking a glance to make sure no new text messages before opening the back door and sliding in. "I assume you took probably everything." she smirks.

Shadow shakes his head no "i only took what i needed and a present for your sister" He smiled showing her the machetes on his leg "Besides if there are any survivors it would do them no good to walk into an empty store" Shadow new better than to be greedy he was content with the things he had he just needed what he had in the duffle bag.

"Hm?" Avalon narrows her eyes at him, "Giving presents to a girl you don't know? I see someone needs to be told about the birds and bees."

Lance shakes his head in disagreement "I am simply trying to help the group i am only familiar with the weapons your sister uses, I dont know much about the other two she is currently with " He places the key in the ignition of the car turning it and putting the car into gear. "now i say we head to that hospital you were talking about"

"I see," Avalon smirks, as Shadow starts the car up, "Well.. hopefully you can find the hospital.. it's the only one in this whole town you know."

Shadow smiles and laughs "It was the first place i went when i first came to this town its how i spotted your sister out." Lance pats his sniper rifle and smiles heading at a high speed towards the hostpital

Avalon stares at Shadow, amusement on her face, "Playing stalker now are we? Or do you always choose a hospital to find Damsels in Distress?" She sits back, not commenting on Shadow breaking the speed limit.

Shadow glares at Avalon threw the rear view mirror trying his best not to make a comment. He didn't wanna snap at Avalon anymore he just kept silent and continued driving making it to the hospital. "we are here now" He said as he opened up the rv and carefully slipped out of it with his hand pressed against his 9mm. "Now where could they be? I couldn't have beat them here could i?"

Avalon picks up Roz and slides out of the car, "The way you were driving, unless they developed speedy powers like that Spanish mouse on tv, than duh, we beat them here." She looks around, "This place is a bit spooky you know."

Lance shook his head in disagreement "when i left the group they should have been already on there way.. Something just doesn't feel right about this" He said looking up at the sky for maybe even a small chance of a flare. "This is ridiculous.. Why am i so worried" He mistakenly said out loud not remembering that Avalon was still there.

"They probably stopped to get supplies along the way," Avalon replies, "And stop worrying, you should of been born a female, sheesh."

Shadow glared at Avalon pointed at the rv and smirked "Dont you have a little sibling to take care of or something?" he said carefully strolling around.

Avalon glares at him, "Okay, let's get things straight here, Mr. Ants in his Pants. Roz is not my sister, she happens to be the daughter of a friend of my sister's who probably's by now been made into some Zombie's fish and chips." she smirks, "I always said that fish would get him in the end."

Shadow shrugged sitting on the hood of the RV holding the dog tags on his neck and twirling them around. "Well, Whatever he is im sure he misses you" Shadow smiled and pointed into the Rv at the crying child "I can't take care of it forever you know?"

"Never asked you to and what will happen when you have a child of your own? Let the missus do all the dirty work?" Avalon goes over to Roz, picking her up, "What's wrong, Rozzies? Did Mr. Needs A Shot In the Rear wake you up?" she goes into the bag, "Hey, old fart, did you remember to get something a two year old could eat?"

Shadow laughed at Avalon's response "me? get a family you are funny." Lance walked to the bag and rummaged threw it pulling out a small jar of smashed peas and tossing it to Avalon. "There happy miss should be locked in a cage?" he laughed as he gently flicked her nose like as if she was his little sister.

Avalon catches the food and sends him a look that if looks could kill when he flicks her nose, "I'm sure there's tons of eligible ladies out there dying for a man. Or you could always go gay."

Lance laughed at the zombie reference "Nice one but i pass on the whole gay thing i just couldn't do it" He smiled and walked to the front of the rv he sat down on it and looked into the sky staring at the stars while propping his wounded leg on the hood.

Avalon smirks, "There could be a few undying ones out there as well. The zombies probably left a few ugly ones out there for you." She opens the jar of food and lets Roz feed herself.

Shadow shook his head laying across the hood and frowning. "Unfortunately i doubt even the ugly ones would care. Alas, I promised an old friend that i would find a family." Shadow laughed and shook his head in disbelief and disappointment. "Can't you imagine me with a family a foolish idea huh?"

"Never know till you ask," Avalon glances at him, "You know, if you play your cards right, you might get a chance with Chloe.. through I think most guys are scared of her.. I heard she's threatened to make a few into females." she grins, "Of course, they were trying to shove dollar bills down her panties.."

Shadow sat up and walked to the Rv door he walked inside and laid himself upon one of the beds and slowly falling asleep. (im gonna wait until more people start posting cause its getting hard to think of things to do)

Rhys and Kat had been walking for a few hours now. Night had fallen in full, and it was getting much harder to see the things that stumbled around the woodline next to the road. The sounds of leaves rustling and twigs breaking was a small warning, but without the light of the sun, traveling was far too dangerous. But it had to be done. The sooner they made it back to camp the sooner they would be out of immediate danger.
As far as the two could tell from the signs they had left behind and the worn map that Rhys kept with him, they were about half a mile from the safe house. The going had gone quickly at first with only the occasional walker roaming by, but the closer they got to living lodgings, the more the undead numbers increased. Now they had to watch every step. The two scouts came to the large parking lot of a strip mall near their group, with the safe house being just on the other side behind the buildings.
"Well," Kat whispered "We can try and sneak across to the middle door over there and risk something seeing us in the open, or we can go around and risk something seeing us in the woods."
"Great choices, right." Rhys said roughly. "Going through the middle would be faster. Plus if we get seen out there at least we have an equal chance of seeing whatever saw us. I don't want anything jumping on me from behind a tree."
"Right." She replied
Rhys let the way with Kat scanning the pavement for movement. To the far right of the building she could see the limping movements of a zombie, but besides that it was clear as far as she could tell. She caught up to Rhys.
"One off to the right." She whispered.
He also saw it.
"Stay low." he said.
They crept towards the buildings, the walker slowly making it's way in the same direction.
BOOM!
A gun shot echoed across the lot.
"That came from the safe house!" Kat exclaimed. As they watched, the single zombie started walking more directly toward their goal. Other walkers began to cross the parking lot, one of the new ones spotting them. It opened it's mouth and let out a low but powerful moan that only grew as the others followed the first one's gaze.
"Run!" Rhys yelled.
