Yes, Quiet does draw, though I spend more time painting now then I used to because sketching poses some problems for me at times depending on how much my hands shake. (Pills I take cause that). I do pretty much everything in traditional art though, no digital yet. I'm starting to get back into just sketching more if not actual pencil or pen drawings.


Yeah, Zara is mine. She was the winner of a user created NPC contest (I wasn't on staff at the time) so I designed some of the items and another staff member completed the outfit.

Art trade Rem? I can probably do some critter for you. Comics are not really my style but I do play around with it sometimes. When I was younger I created a basic Digimon design just for fun. Can't remember what I called it. Basic winged wolf thing, Not the most original idea in the world.

The line work on the pencil crayon colourings isn't mine, it's line art I coloured, but I like colouring too. I can always try an avy drawing to practice some human stuff, or semi-human stuff. I owe a couple people here avatar drawing from a contest way back when...I'm stupidly slow. Most of the time anyway.

Anyway you feel like drawing her is fine for me, Rem. There an avy you have in mind for yourself?

And the tricks to coloured pencil are A: Not to use a pencil with a very sharp tip because you end up with a dark line deep in the paper that is hard to get rid of, B: use a soft hand so that the lines blend nicely and don't look like lines on the paper, C: keep going, and going, and going, and going, and going, and going...

Coloured pencils at one point will stack up to the point that they can't be coloured overtop of anymore, but general blending works pretty well. Put a light green next to a dark green for instance and run one over top of the other. It can take a long time to fill and area or blend it with colour but it's worth the effort. I know some people use white for blending colours. I don't use sharp tips unless I'm doing something very precise, like an eyelash or something that actually needs to look sharp.

Oh, and about the class thing...I usually have my earphones on anyways. My hair's just long enough to cover my ears; hence my earphones are always coming up from the back of my shirt or jacket >.>

I push down too hard to start with and can't build up anything
and p soon it's all just a waxy sheeny mess, esp since I have a bad habit of like, trying to color on ink or too dark graphite and then the colors end up muddy with black ew
