He first felt apprehensive as the other opened his mouth to sing, but as the words spilled from his mouth he felt enraptured and hardly able to look away from the face despite the hands that moved over his chilled skin in such a way that he felt open to allow the touching. Watching the lips move to form words that he could not truly understand, he felt himself reaching out to touch. |
none of his school had ever reached out and though he was told it happened with some humans the touch pulled him from his singing and he closed his mouth. with the refreshing feel of the water cooling him down each part of him that touched the human burned and the fingers that grazed his face was no exception. closing his eyes he let them move
He was left unguided without the words of the song or the eyes that had first entranced him. Dully he stared for a moment while his fingertips grazed across the skin that felt as though it were moist and chilly. Wrinkling his brow he allowed for both his fingers and his sights travel away from the face and along the body in front of him. |
it took those hot digits moving down his throat and across his chest for him to remember he was practicing his song on the human and with his eyes sill closed he took to a light breath of melody
His breath caught in his throat as he heard the melody on the lightest breath of air, a shiver passing through his body as one smooth tremor. He turned his head upward to look at the face once more, and though the lips moved and words spilled forth the eyes were still not open and so his fingers continued to roam. |
it-he kept moving and so he strengthened his song and opening his eyes bore down a stare at it to halt it's wandering hands
It almost felt shamed into stopping as he felt the heavy stare on him and as the words grew to be more than a breath he let his hands fall away from the clammy skin back into the cold water that was still lingering in his bathtub. Looking into the pale eyes he watched the words that came from pale lips. |
this time he did not stop until it-he, the human looked entirely under and when he used his nail to nick a bit of the paling skin and blood flowed free there was no reaction. he felt confident that this time he had managed to succeed and pleased with himself bent to lap at the sweetness that came from the wound
The sound of the words were replaced with the sweet sound and sensation of suckling against his shoulder, and the pale color of the iris’ that stared into his own were gone and replaced and in their stead the white subway tile that decorated the walls of his bathroom were in his sights instead. He could feel his fingers that had become slightly pruned in the water, and the weight of the body on top of him while it sucked joyfully against him. A low moan escaped his lips while his fingers left the water to wrap around milky thighs while his head fell to the side.
*it’s mood was one he did not know though it was a sign he would have been looking for if he still had the inclination to trap, instead his own want was to taste not to trap. He did not stop, however, even as it pushed it’s maleness against him. His inquiring touches by his body were not sent away, and so he could only presume that his inquiry was accepted openly by the other. Gently he rocked his hips against the other with a gentle splash of water around them while his hands trailed across the back of a milky thigh. His fingers grazed the smooth edge of the other while his head turned back towards the one who remained sucking against his shoulder there it was now beginning to hurt, but he paid it no mind. One hand came to linger on a pale cheek, warming the chilly flesh while his other hand trailed along the lengthy side to rub and caress against the thin and nearly green skin as the stranger had done to him only moments prior. Had the other’s lips been free he would have offered a sweet and assuring kiss as compensation for his touches but instead he allowed for the other to nip harshly at his skin while he only barely flinched away. *As he broke skin the human flinched and he understood the human was already falling free. He lapped at the light well of it’s ichor then pulled away to see it’s-his, the press of maleness reminded him, his, reaction through what he saw elicited a new hunger. He all but purred as the other looked to him again, and taking his hand free of the narrow side he gently caressed a cheek as he brough the face closer for an attempted kiss while the hand against the stranger worked around the joints of the thighs to try and find the other’s maleness. He recalled being brought back to his bed, but after that seemed only like a blur. When he woke again the once bright sun of the midday had become the duller lull of the afternoon, and after rolling over he could feel that he wa no longer dressed and there was a contented feeling in his gut that made his brow wrinkle with concern. Glancing to the side he could see the stranger laying asleep in the beams of sunshine and in his gut he could feel the sensation of content leave in favor of fear that it was not merely a dream he had. Hovering over the body he could see the man’s chest rise and fall with each breath, and looking over the face he could see those lips that could sing words so sweet enough to make him do anything and give himself up willingly. Reaching out he brushed a hand across the long strands of hair that laid across the face, and in doing so it revealed pale skin of the neck, and the first thing that stood out to him were the faintest of lines across the side of his neck. He’d thought they were scars until he reached out to touch them and felt that they had a lip to them. *He woke to the feeling of fingers against his gills and opened his eyes enough to see movement. He turned his head and stared at the human. The eyes were penetrating like ice as they caught his own where he was stuck, and he dared not move from where he was until he felt as though the other would not be angry with him. Sitting back on his knees he realized that the silence would only continue and so he spoke up. “What are you?” *Saying nothing he moved forward to touch it-him and seeing it’s face grow strange stopped. He could not understand it’s behavior. He could not help but pull away from the intended touch. Already he had gotten too close without hardly knowing what or who the other was. “You have gills, you’re not human.” *The understanding came to him and carefully he nodded, “...yes.” He was surprised enough that the...thing did more than nod at his recognition, and knowing that he should not flee he uncomfortably shifted. “I have only ever heard of mermaids, but you do not look much like Ariel.” Seeing that the other did not get his reference his frown grew larger. “Are you a mermaid?” *He knew the word though it was not he. This did not mean, however, that he was not wise and avoiding the question he pointed to his feet, “tail, not human.” He stared for a cou ple of minutes while he tried to comprehend. He had a tail and yet was not mermaid, and he had a voice that could make him do anything. Wringing his hands he started to shrug. ”You sing often, are you one of those things that wrecks ships and lures people?” *Lure, yes. Shipe, he had never done. Frowning he remained silent while he looked for a word, when he found one his face fell blank once more and he pointed to his legs, “...loreley.” He looked to where the other pointed and only saw his legs. “loreley?” *Are littl3chocobo's posts, while unmarked posts belong to me. |
nodding he moved towards it to give it a calming kiss though this too was met with the human twitching away. he stilled and taking a chance held a hand out to it to see if the offer would be taken if he was not the one to reach out
He stared at the pale hand for a moment while he tried to decide whether or not it was alright, and he ended in the decision that it was not going to hurt him. Reaching out he gently took the hand that was held out for him.
when the gesture was taken he closed his hand around it's and carefully leaned in until it was close enough to speak softly into it's ear-hole, "mine, i found you"
Had another human told him that he may have smiled. but as it stood he was only partially sure of what creature it was that sat before him on the bed. He decided to counteract it, "I found you out in the rain though. Did you know to come to my garden?"
he said nothing and as the silence carried on he realized he would be expected to speak now. pulling away he offered it a blank look in hopes that it would forget that he had spoken and go back to not expecting him to know
He frowned as the hand left go of his and the man backed away to his spot where he had napped on the bed. "Did I scare you from talking?"
he said nothing
He stared for a moment in hopes of conjuring something, and instead he got nothing for his efforts. He hung his head in shame for having used his short time of talking for such a trivial thing, and rather than sticking around he started to climb out of bed to find clothes to replace the ones that had been removed and to see what time it was to determine if he could still make it to town or not.
he felt relieved when it did not keep goading him on and when it had reapplied it's fabric once more he slipped from the nest and followed it to the door
He thought to turn around halfway on his trip to the living room to halt the man, but he knew that his words had stopped working and he was stuck with the heavy shadow that followed after him without question. On his way to the window he took a hold of his cell phone to dial someone he knew in town, and when he got a voicemail he could see the rain predicted starting to come down as a light sprinkle which he knew would soon be sheets of rain. Clicking the phone and heavily setting it down against the nearby coffee table he turned around to stare at the creature.
he was surprised when it stopped moving and turned around to stare at him. blankly he stared back until it resumed it's walk and once more he took to following behind
He found the leftover food he had left for the other before he devoured nearly all of his fish, and the thought made him frown. He looked into the living room from the doorway to see the floor slightly wet from where his innocent victims may have fallen from the creature's grasp to the floor where they met their untimely end by means of Aces or the man, and that water spillage reminded him of the giant mess that was still left in the bathroom. Walking to the water closet he pulled out all of the towels he had before walking off to the bathroom.
he was silent and the human was as well as they went around in through all of the places from before and though each made the human more and more unhappy he could see nothing wrong and did not refrain from following. eventually it grabbed some fabric and headed towards the basin room. he licked his lips and wondered if it wished to dock again so soon
Layers of towels were thrown upon the floor to soak up any of the water that still remained spilled over the side of the tub. He did his best to wring out the towels into the already still filled tub that was still filled with the water from earlier, and when he had entirely run out of dry towels to finish cleaning the remainder of the water that sat idle on the floor, he found that the man was standing there with a towel he had picked up. Taking it from the other he looked up at the icy eyes for a lingering moment before he went back to wiping up the remainder of the room.
the look was brief but it was what he was expecting though he had the mind to let it finish whatever it was doing first. it was only when the human reached into the basin and the water began to drain that he made his move and moving up behind it he clung to it and offered a hum before pushing on the things that it had touched before to start and stop the rain
(your call if it goes on but i would hope the clinging the face and the gesture made his wishes clear) |
He watched as the hand awkwardly bumped against the faucet of the shower just enough to set the shower head on low so water merely dripped liek a hose without water. A look over his shoulder showed him an eager and lusty look from the creature's eyes, and looking back at the draining tub he was able to figure what the other wished for. A hand reached out to properly turn on the shower with warm water, and trying to straighten he turned around beneath the other's weight before reaching out to caress pale and exposed skin.
He contented himself with reheating the food which was originally for the other, but as he did not want it then it became his evening meal and he was left pondering what to give the other. Only two fish remained in his fish tank, and he told the other that those fish were not to eat, but merely for looks. He was not sure if his words were understood, but he did not elaborate as he instead looked through the freezer and found an old box of fish sticks. Taking them out of the bag he offered them to the man to see what he thought.
when he was told the food was ornamental he was confused though when he was offered some foul-spelling things instead. turning his nose away he headed for the place he came in upon so he could go and find his own meal
He watched as the man left the home, and while he was tempted to ask him where he was going he knew that he would neither get an answer nor would he probably remain to he let him go. Aces was quick to realize the other was leaving, if only temporarily, and emerged from her hiding place beneath the couch for affection and her own dinner. He was happy to comply for the company she offered once he could hear the rain start to fall outside.
the hunting was surprisingly fine so close to the shore though he felt the fear of human hunters strongly. even with his legs there was no mistaking him for one of them
(he caught too large ones, when he gets back he will vomit them both up though they don't have fins or back-spines. he will eat one) |
He could hear the door open, and peering up from where he sat on the couch he watched the soaked man drift closer. "Welcome back, did you get anyth-" Words were promptly cut short as the other threw up two large fish which already looked partially digested with certain fins and body parts missing. His lip wrinkled up in a look of disgust, and while he was about to leave to fetch something to clean up the mess the man started to eat one of the regurgitated fish once again while Aces drifted closer to see if she could share in the meal.
it did not come to eat with him but the cat-beast did and when he could not see it wanting to eat he let the beast have it and concentrated on filling his own belly
He'd excused himself from the feasting in exchange of returning to his computer room. Minimizing his work he instead went onto the internet, and after clicking the search box he paused. Fingers tapped gently enough against the keys that nothing was typed while he pondered what he would type, and eventually he typed in a number of attributes his newly found guest had. He hesitated in pressing enter before he finally succumbed to pressing the button and filed throug the search results to figure out what exactly the other was.
it did not return even after he had eaten and feeling better he went in search for it to see what it was doing
In the midst of reading an article on mermaids he was still perplexed to an extent after the other had already said that was not he. Letting out a sigh he returned to the front page before he noticed a shadow standing behind him, and hurriedly he closed all of the windows on screen before looking over his shoulder to see the man waiting. A nervous laugh left him as he stood from his rolling chair with a loud squeak. "How was your meal?"
he said nothing and only offered a gentle touch as an answer. he was not sure what was upsetting it but he would continue to show he did not yet mean it harm
His site followed the hand as it came to rest on his shoulder, and at a touch so soft he relaxed a bit. "Is there still a mess of fish all over my living room floor?"
shaking his head to the side he offered it a sympathetic look. he had figured it did not want any and had eaten his and the other had taken the rest
"Good, I know you enjoy fish but I would not prefer that my living room smells like the sea." Come, we will find a way to occupy ourselves until the storm passes, I havea feeling I will not get any work done." As he passed by he reached out to touch the other in the soothing and careful way the other did before he wandered free of the dark room with the other following him like a shadow.
wordlessly he followed though as they went he was struck with a strange urge and reaching out pulled the other against him and offered a soft hum
