Randy raised an eyebrow at her. "Then I'd better hurry if I wish to defeat you before Katie and Susan start to wonder."
"I wonder how long it will take you to finish me off," she said giving him a lick across his chin.
His ears twitched. "Being able to take down an opponent in a limited amount of time is very important for a soldier such as myself," he said as the tentacles moved and rearranged themselves about her, changing her position while holding her safely off the ground.
"Well soldier! Show me what you've got!" said Greta.
"You don't stand a chance," he whispered as he leaned over her...
.....
Sometime later Greta adjusted her bathing suit, "Seems I've been defeated!" |
"That'll teach you," said Randy with a grin.
"So it did," Greta returned his grin, "What are you going to do next?"
Randy ran a hand through his hair, fluffing out whatever of it was still weighed down with water. "Whatever Katie asks, I suppose," he replied. "I have not yet fully explored this gathering enough to find anything which specifically appeals to me."
"I think you might like the bake off, you can enter as a judge and test all the food," said Greta.
Indeed, Randy's ears perked up and his eyebrows arched with interest. "Where is this bake-off?"
"It's over in the town square, near the bakery so that people can use the ovens, they need more judges before they can start the contest," she said.
"Then I must go and help them right away!" Randy hurried back into his clothes and burst out of the shower.
Greta laughed and followed after him, grabbing Katie along the way.
As they left the area, they neared Susan and Anthony again. "We are off to save a contest. Will you be joining us?" asked Randy.
"It's a bake off, and they need judges to taste the food," Greta explained.
