XD yeah, those are a thing... but the chicken pattern I have is for little mochimochi style ones that are about an inch and a half tall. lol

Damies 05-23-2017 07:31 PM

SparX 05-24-2017 10:50 AM

Damies 05-25-2017 04:38 AM

I never made them cuz as I was cleaning getting ready my cold tripled in intensity and I am ded now.

Den 05-25-2017 09:33 PM

colds are evil.

Damies 05-26-2017 12:43 AM

Yup. I now have a slew of medication to help ease my suffering.

Hope you'll get better soon, Damies.

That piggy looks adorable, but seeing as it comes through a portal from some other dimension, I would observe it closely at first. Not that anything, you know... strange happens during the night...

By the way, is anybody interested in a Trisphee sew-along (or crochet-along, or knit-along, or...) where we choose a free pattern together, work on it and show the finished craft to impress everyone with our creativity? I don't know if this has been done here already, but it sounds like it could be a lot of fun - plus you get to see what others make of the same instructions.

Oooo. that would be fun. I haven't participated in a K-A-L before....

Damies 05-26-2017 08:54 PM

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I am working on my nails polish swatching stuff, this is gonna take foreverrrrr.

@Death By Mirrors: That would be cool! I don't really do stuff that would fit but I don't mind hosting one here!

SparX 05-26-2017 11:23 PM

I would love to see what people do XD
But anything with knit or crochet I would have to step out of XD Absolutely no talent there =P

Lol. I sold the piggy so it hopefully will no longer be an issue.

And a Trisphee Craft-a-long is a cool idea! My only concern is that loom knitting has a lot fewer patterns than most crafts, so depending on what project gets picked, I may not be able to do it.

Death by Mirrors 05-27-2017 04:26 AM

*spooky voice* ...but maybe next time you inadvertently open a portal, same piggy will come out of it again...

Alright, so general interest is there, awesome ^^ I think we could certainly do more than one over time as people enjoy different crafts - and by the way if we go with easy starter projects, it might also be a nudge to try something new (if you want, that is).

So what particular craft would you like for this event? Or in other words, what would you participate in? No point in searching patterns/instructions for some obscure hobby no one wants to do in the end.

What's your skill level? Right now I'm thinking easy project, so curious beginners can join too, but if we end up with an intermediate to expert group, then of course we can tackle more challenging stuff.

And would you try a new craft for this, given the instructions provided are clear enough and people willing to explain difficult parts, or rather stay in your preferred hobby territory? Trust me, I'm not plotting to drag anyone out of their comfort zone, but at the same time I want as much Trisphites as possible to be able to join - either by a series of events switching the particular craft inbetween, or by finding something all interested hobbyists can agree to try their hand on.
