Bio: His parents moved to Ba Sing Se when he was still an infant, wanting him to grow up somewhere other than Republic City. He stayed here until he was 16 years of age, just a normal student, air-bending on the side, away from his parents. At 16, his parents caught him bending, and sent him for training by a master who had offered his services. Hiten trained at the Northern air temple for two decades, before the master he had learned under passed on, leaving him as the master of the temple. Student-less, he went on a journey to find students worthy of his teaching. Now a wanderer, he still visits his family and the Northern Air Temple often.

Personality: Calm and quiet, has spoken less than ten words in the last year, some say. He prefers to express himself with his bending, and with motions. He considers air-bending to be the greatest style, but respects other forms as well, even helping them train to fight against air-bending techniques. He is kind, and gentle, but if he feels you are doing wrong by the innocent, or you hurt his family or friends, he flips to his polar opposite, and will show you the rage of the winds.
