As long as its based on one of the stories, I don't mind if you deviate a little away from it-- as long as the theme wraps around the story.

i would like to think i do :3 i've read the book batty got me like 8 times. and theres a movie "The Brothers Grimm" based of a compilation their works. and a tv show called "Grimm" that just came out like last year that features a different story every episode with an underlying plot tying them all together. and another tv show "Once Upon a Time" that features various fairy tales that include the Grimm works but also other famous tales.

also alot of other sci-fi/fantasy works (tv,movie,book,etc) are loosely based off the grimm tales or have some character references or have very similar themes.

Yeah, I've heard of those shows too. Though I haven't watched them before, I have thought about doing so...

Once upon a time is pretty good, i've yet to have caught more than 2 episodes of grimm,though i have read about the episodes and the season.

I'll have to check it out. Later though, now is definitely not the right time to be watching tv shows since I should be sleeping. >.>;;

yeah, I like fairy tales in general but I end up confusing which fairy tale comes from where. *has this huge book with Grimm fairy tale, french fairy tales and other fairy tales*
