The hobby this time around reminded me of the horror of breaking sewing machine needles as I tried to make an apron. So not a seamstress even though I'd love to learn.:P

Everyone breaks sewing machine needles eventually. That's just a natural process of learning.

sewing machine needles and i do NOT get along well. i usually break at least one everytime either I or my daughters works on a project.... XD

I broke a sewing machine needle making curtains once... and have had to replace the needle twice more due to wearing it out from use.

Maybe that's how I broke those needles. It's good to know that it's a normal part of the process. I thought I was so inept I should avoid sewing all together to save the poor machine that kind of agony. XD

I usually break hand needles. Like, literally snap 'em in half.

i only break machine needles. i poke myself with hand needles and pins. XD
