Scare them off? I'm not sure. We have the same process for pretty much every newling. You've gotten first hand experience with it.
And Cassidy set us up so I could help the Newling get used to Tris. They stopped comeing on though... |

I can imagine... I'm uncomfortable unless the temperature is kept somewhere around 78. Anything less, and I always have a blanket, at the very least.
