it is not, but the argument is you can't steal a pose, the fact that the actual pixels themselves were stolen keeps getting swept under the rug

maybe if you showed them the art where you had yours and hers over lapping? or does it still not matter?

i did and she said she only referenced and it is a coincidence that the pixels match, you can read it all on the deviation

I read the comments, but I wasn't sure what you said when you reported it, or if you showed them HOW MUCH was copied

I still can't believe that they didn't do anything

i said the work used my base and i was given not credit and gave no permission and linked the deviation with the overlapping art, i doubt i will get a reply back especially given a staff member commented on my journal saying having people report will make it take /longer/ to get it taken care of

how rude and unthoughtful.

Also, I think I've come up with a way to give out the 2012 yearly set.
A mix of contests. Avi Contest / Art Contest / Writing Contest
It would be pick to out of three and run with it.
That way its not easy and it is more diverse so more people can participate

Lastly, I'm thinking of adding a clockworks storyline/setting/history/etc, and maybe making a rp out of the whole thing.. i wonder if anyone would join it...

Oh oh! I could try the avatar contest, but I'll definitely enter the art contest! (Well depends) Writing isn't my thing, but I could give it a go if the avie contest is giving me trouble. >.<

Well the avi contest is probably gonna be complex, cause its an avi contest...
and the writing wouldn't have to be super awesome, but just thoughtful.
Not something you would just really quickly write out.

I can tell you right now the Art contest is either going to be this avi. or a Group of avis (maybe the staff)

The avi contest will have a list of requirements. I'm not sure what yet, since I want to make it easy enough for newer members, but I also don't want to make it to easy, if that makes sense.

and the writing contest will have to do with something about "Clockworks Co"
I tried to have an interesting style when setting up the thread, and to hold with the way I was writing the posts, I would really like to write up a history/setting/storyline for my clockwork threads, and maybe make a roleplay out of it. Just for fun.

Like I just edited one of my posts in the front, the one with the picture of the box, I'm going to be putting something fun there, as soon as I figure out how to do what i want to AND be fair about it...

Well it will definitely won't be too easy, but not that difficult. Could there be a choice, of either single art and group art. A few artists (like myself) sometimes have trouble with groups. o wo; Not to say I won't try if that is what the contest is though!

That makes perfect sense. I mean it is a contest, so us contestants have to work hard, but not overwork ourselves. xD
