I swear, I don't know where you lived before, because where I am in the states, calling someone a cow is a pretty common insult with about that meaning... And pretty sure cow still means cow, too, over there.
Differences in accents and vernacular and such always interest me. |

I lived in the country/small town and I never heard any American person call a female a cow unless they were saying the female was fat.
And don't give someone from Scotland the V sign, it means the same as the middle finger in America. Ah, there's many different dialects, all depending what area of Scotland your in. My mate has a hard dialect sometimes to work out while my next door neighbour's daughter, I can make out every word she says. |
