...On the fire thing, let's just say, to be a good scout...you had to have fire mishaps. (Like, say, a fire without fuel...which in reality was because of leaky 20-year-old fuel containers...or an aluminum can of popcorn catching a dining fly on fire...or a flag retirement ceremony with a nylon flag catching the flag bearer's pants on fire...or me trying to get a bar of steel (Rebar) out that some stuck/stabbed inside a hot fire...or folk using soap & alcohol as fuel for a chemical fire...)
