Twigg 06-11-2012 05:39 PM

Well I think Batty said they are still eligible since I entered before I had become staff. ^^;

Tiva 06-11-2012 05:40 PM

Okay! I know they didn't make batters staff til after her designs won because art staff normally can't do art contests.

Twigg 06-11-2012 05:41 PM

You want to see when Fairy Tales, go wierd, go check out Sleeping Beauty. Ancient Greece had a version of that one.

*literary brain flicks on* Actually, I think Sleeping Beauty would be considered a folk tale, since Fairy tales technically have a literary base, while folk tales are passed around oraly or regionally or whatever. The Litter Mermaid would be a fairy tale (written by Hans Christian Anderson. He's got his own street in Copenhagan, and two statues), I think most of Grimm's stuff would be folk since they were collecting tales from around then, weren't they? *turns literary brain off.*

~ sorry, that happens sometimes. ;)

Contest closes when the event ends? I'll see if I can still get to that Puss-in-Boots thing I talked about.

Tiva 06-11-2012 05:50 PM

Yay Puss... in boots!

*is working in hansel and Gretel atm*

Quiet Man Cometh 06-11-2012 06:00 PM

Pussy cat, pussy cat, where have you been?
"I've been to London to visit the Queen."
Pussy cat, pussy cat, what did you there?
"I frightened a little mouse under her chair."
