see, I just never enjoyed the writing style in HP, so I include it as I do not enjoy the writing style in the others either. Now, that said, I do think she avoids abusing the written word, but I think that a LOT of the hype is just that, hype. The books themselves, together or separate are NOT as good as everyone in the fandom would like the rest of the world to believe.

Well yeah, it's young adult, so the writing style is pretty simple. But I thought the story was good. You have a point about the hype though; it's certainly not my favorite series...
