Sometimes you can sand them down a bit - thought that would scare the hell out of me to do.

Aiko 08-23-2012 05:30 PM

I saw this girl doing something about it on this Danish bjd forum, it looked pretty safe, and the result came out pretty well, so I think I will follow her example actually

I would highly recommend is to get a professional to do it because they know what to do and how to fix it with the best of their abilities

Aiko 08-23-2012 05:37 PM

I'm not sure how many proffessionals there are here... I think the most professionals in how to handle resin... would be the fellow ABJD collectors in my country

In any case, I think I'll ask around

Good luck with the restoration project. <3 Send pics when you are done.

Aiko 08-24-2012 07:00 AM

I will Angel, I promise... if I get him... I really hope I have the money for it TwT

Echo-chan713 08-24-2012 03:33 PM

Do one of those before and after picture shots

Aiko 08-24-2012 04:38 PM

Yes, yes I will :3
It will be a process though, almost everything needs to be done, restringing, removing yellowing, new faceup
so yeah.. it will take time

Omg! I had taken my dolls our to change their clothings - they were in the living room and I leave to go get dinner and they are gone. Finally my sister comes back as says she put in them in the hall closet for safekeeping! AGH! I was going nuts looking for them!

Aiko 08-25-2012 12:14 PM

Oh my god I would have died
But still... that's kinda sweet that she wanted to help you protect your dolls

Nikko: And show, yes?

Fauxreal 08-25-2012 02:09 PM

I was running all over the house looking for them. I KNEW where I had left them and they weren't there - it was crazy.

They are small pukipukis so I thought someone sat on them or something. lol!

Aiko 08-25-2012 02:11 PM

haha yes that would be terrible

I just made wings for my MSD girl
now to figure out how to attach them to her O_o;

Fauxreal 08-25-2012 02:38 PM
