Yeah, but it can result in hilarity sometimes.

dragoness129 11-09-2017 12:11 AM

Aww -hugs Kad and Tsukiko-

Mine pulls on my neck. Could be because I keep sticking a lot of things in the apron pockets.

Den 11-09-2017 01:58 AM

our printer is printing stuff that's out of alignment, which isn't so big of a deal when stuff doesn't have black outlines, but it makes pattern printing a bitch.

The new ones we have actually cross in the back instead of having a neck strap. It's nice, but also a real bitch to adjust properly so the front of the apron isn't up to my chin. XP

I need to get more fat quarters to make more sometime. xux"

Yikes. I can imagine.

Den 11-09-2017 06:55 PM

I told Dad about it, and asked him to fix the alignment issue.

tsukiko 11-09-2017 08:29 PM

i hope it's an easy fix, den :(

Den 11-09-2017 10:29 PM

Should be. Only reason I didn't try to do it myself is I'm more likely to make it worse.

tsukiko 11-09-2017 10:51 PM

i feel the same way about my printer...but i'm the only one around to fix things like that >___<

Kaderin Triste 11-09-2017 11:09 PM

Same here. I don't have a printer, but 90% of computer issues, I let someone more experienced handle the fixing.

trystan830 11-09-2017 11:48 PM

i am the computer person in my house. =)

Den 11-10-2017 12:24 AM

I know how to change printer ink cartridges in the printer here, and basic troubleshooting stuff.... and that's about it.

trystan830 11-10-2017 12:25 AM

yeah, that's all me. even hubby won't change the printer cartridges. least, i've never seen him do it.... XD

Den 11-10-2017 01:24 AM

I'm one of those people who if something frustrates me enough to do something about it? It's gonna get done.

ZenKitty 11-10-2017 01:28 AM

Hey Den. Could your dad get the programming in my computer to reboot so it will work? Darned thing is stuck on an error message and won't do anything. XD

Den 11-10-2017 01:41 AM

probably not. He's actually only slightly more tech savvy than me, but his job is selling insurance. My sibling probably could though....

ZenKitty 11-10-2017 09:36 AM

Wish you lived closer, Den. I would totally have your sibling look at this printer. It just grinds me to get rid of something because some stupid software inside of it is mucked up.

tsukiko 11-10-2017 03:27 PM

i wish i was more tech savvy myself LOL

tsukiko 11-10-2017 08:08 PM

Den 11-10-2017 08:34 PM

So, as requested, pictures of the book...

trystan830 11-10-2017 08:57 PM

oh that's awesome Den!!

Den 11-10-2017 09:19 PM

I want to make a few more... some sized so I can actually use them, but that has to wait.

ZenKitty 11-10-2017 10:25 PM

That is a great book, Den!

Wyoming is many, many hours away from me.

Den 11-11-2017 12:13 AM

I might make more smol books like that someday... but leather is expensive...

tsukiko 11-11-2017 10:23 PM

o: that's adorable! *perfect sized for goopie*

Den 11-12-2017 12:38 AM

The pages are made from a single sheet of 9X12" sketchbook paper.

tsukiko 11-12-2017 12:58 AM

xD nice! you're so talented

Den 11-12-2017 01:29 AM

I just have a lot of patience, and when I want to do something, I tend to go for it.

tsukiko 11-12-2017 10:46 AM

well, you should be proud ^__^

Ooo lovely

Mekatra 11-13-2017 08:00 PM

Here is my favorite hobby, Tablet weaving!

Den 11-13-2017 08:08 PM

*perks* Another tablet weaver! I'm still learning, but I have a set of tablets.

Mekatra 11-13-2017 08:10 PM

Oh are you doing it on a loom or trying backstrap? Threaded in patterns or doubleface? I LOVE tablet weaving. I'm supposed to be making a pattern for an alien head for one of my friends, but I've been slacking off on it because I HATE warping my loom.

Den 11-13-2017 09:25 PM

backstrapping. I've got stuff to make a 3D printed loom, but I haven't gotten it printed....

Damies 11-13-2017 10:08 PM

So I have a fragrance oil called "Santa's Spruce" and the name makes me giggle a bit. I may make soap with it but tonight I am trying cranberry fig scent and my first try at doing pour swirls.

Derpy McBlueEyes 11-13-2017 10:12 PM
