I've never made a resume. Well in high school but I haven't made one since.

A resume didn't help me get my job, really, but they are nice to have in any case.

Yep. In general a resume is an easily formatted list of what you've done, so it's supposed to help in a way.

I thought word had a set up for it and you just fill it in. I haven't figured out how to do it now.

Resume's come in handy, but I swear mine is increasingly become more batshit crazy xD. I think the only reason I got my job was I agreed to the Temp. Position for a max of 3 months, and told them I'd do anything I was told as long as it was legal and involved money. That was about 2 1/2- 3 years ago xD.
