146 Aurum

All the more reason for him to STFU and take your money. Hot Topic isn't the only option for off-mainstream things anymore. They're DYING because people are realizing they have better options when they don't get treated well.

Espy 12-10-2017 02:34 AM

Y'all kill me!

Espy 12-11-2017 01:12 AM

I mean that's why I have an AED handy, right

Mekatra 12-11-2017 01:20 AM

I think the bid it at 7 AU?

Oh handy, do you know CPR also?

Espy 12-11-2017 01:29 AM

I'm joking about the AED.

And nah, I need to learn at some point.

Mekatra 12-11-2017 01:54 AM

Oh I figured. Those things cost like 500-1000 dollars. Most people wouldn't have one just hanging out.

The CPR classes are actually really easy and you can usually find one for free or really cheap if you look.

That is a Shoebill stork, Espy.

10 Aurum

Espy 12-11-2017 03:06 PM

Oh, thanks. Def seen it before, just couldn't remember the name.

Mekatra 12-11-2017 03:15 PM

It took me a while to remember what the heck they were called. I just kept googling types of storks and herons until I found it XD

mdom 12-11-2017 07:13 PM

11 aurum

why was I the only one not to recognize the stork immediately... like to me it was a bird... and that was that

Espy 12-11-2017 08:07 PM

because the rest of us are bird-brained

daikokunyo 12-12-2017 10:02 AM

So like I went to this village-with-no-internet for a college field immersion (hence missing the recent event as though missing the one before it wasn't bad enough) and one of the villages we visited was Kokkarebellur. 'Kokkare' is painted stork in Kannada. Anyway, the village has a tradition of caring for and in modern terms conserving the cranes, storks and pelicans that migrate there for the winter, so I got to see a bunch of birds. The villagers said, like you know how married women go home for/right after delivering a baby? (In my culture anyway.) So since these birds lay and hatch eggs when they visit, they're thought of as the daughters of the village.

:f-heart:

Mekatra 12-12-2017 04:55 PM

13 Aurum.

Do you need any of the items from the event? Like bundles? Do you need some bundles?
Aww that's really sweet actually. I love hearing about people that live so closely with nature and really respect it.

Espy 12-12-2017 04:59 PM

wait who are you asking

Mekatra 12-12-2017 05:04 PM

Sternum since they mentioned they missing the last event. Why, did you need some bundles?

Espy 12-12-2017 05:05 PM

Nah, I'm fine. Just keeping an eye out for donations of older items.

Mekatra 12-12-2017 05:06 PM

Sorry friend, no luck there from me. :/

Espy 12-12-2017 05:09 PM

Eh, no worries.
