Fred, go touch the angel. |
I think I missed something.

But to keep in character, Tarja is going to (try) and put the thing out of it's misery once she sees it. Unless we all think we should wait for Lev. EDIT: No sir, a novelist I am not. |
I am 100% sure this is a bad idea.
|
i swear I've read about this torture somewhere before...
|
Lawtan: OOC promise, I won't kill her, but SHE doesn't know that :X :P
|
Don't trust Suze. He might kill her a little. Make the answer good.
|
Someone should post so Dante doesn't try to help Kadia and get shot in the process, yeah?
|
Give me a minute to find out just how bad an idea this was...
EDIT: Huh. Wasn't expecting that. |
I'll write something up. Don't post, Espy...I just have midterms and homework due tomorrow...
If bullets killed Kadia or Rurik that easily, she'd have died early on in the gangs. Now I just will have to figure out the physics for her to do that with her limited gear... Also OOC: Rurik is akin to said abominations - he's a bit of both. It's Illegal? Oh joy! Anarchy to the Templar! Rurik is essentially a cross between a science fiction sentient AI (K-9!) and a familiar - the aura he has is actually a piece of Kadia, held in his "brain" as a biotic/cyber link. |
Tarja would have taken a swing at the angel when it started yelling threats but I'll assume Dante had hold of her arm by then.
|
Question: Does everyone have one religion, or none, at this point?
Kadia's semi-Taoist |
None for Tarja, I don't think. Otherwise, she'd probably be a Theurgist.
|
I think religion is kind of a moot point here, yeah?
|
That's a complicated question, it really depends how you define religion. There really isn't any point in organized worship at all, anymore, but at the same time the supernatural mystic cosmology of the Judeo-Christian tradition is manifestly, observably real, so faith is totally out of the question, too.
So, while we have "priests" they serve an almost entirely different function than they have in any historical and extant society on earth. There's no longer a social component to "religion", it's a science, and a highly militarized one at that. I can't speak for everyone, but neither of my characters worship or venerate anything, though they obviously accept the existence of demons, angels, evil spirits, heaven, hell, etc. As well the truth that the God who created the world, and they both formerly prayed to, has been destroyed. |
