lost episodes are sad...

are they really lost or are they not allowed to be aired. o3o

In the early days of Doctor Who, the companies would purge their material as a standard money-saving practice. (Especially true of Black and White material - this was the case until personal videos could be sold). Many we only have because exported tapes (for Asia, Africa, Germany, South America) didn't destroy them, and later searching found them.

Sort of sad, because the Second Doctor was affected the worst - from the first regeneration into the Second Doctor to the second-to-last episode.
And 2 is one of my favorites.

i have a k9 model... I have watched and even listened to pretty much all the doctor whos.. I havent been able to catch up in quite some time though unfortunately.. I need to find somewhere to do that. I was last on the arc where they introduced missy to be the master and the end of that season was where i lost the catch up game

I only saw the first episode of that season. x'D

Tbh you don't even need to watch/read something if you want to know everything because of the fandom explosion that is the internet nowadays :s-laugh:

I don't wanna look up the fandom stuff in case i wanna watch it later.

Tbh all I know about Dr Who is he's a time traveller who wants to fix the past and he has a chick with him and there are different Dr Whos the way there are different Supermans and different Dumbledores.

I also know what that time-travelling phone box looks like.
And I know TARDIS is related because there's a Dr Who-themed hangout in Mene called that.
