little slow because of stuff but coming as fast as possible

I hear you. Stuff gets me every time! But today I have the entire day before me and I have been productive thus far:

1. Got up at 9:30, took shower
2. Fed cats
3. Made eggs and pancakes for me and hubby for breakfast, totally yummy with tomato and cheese and spices in the eggs, and banana garnishing the pancakes
4. On the internet going to different places <- that is being productive, I swear!

We didn't have any plans, but we did wind up getting some sparklers. :) My 3 year old was terrified of the poppers, lol, but after everything was over, he thanked our roommate.

@ Ginger - I feel like I slept through the 4th, I can remember the fireworks we watched - we can see them from our top floor window - but the rest of the day is a blur. Yesterday I worked and had a 6 hour D&D game I play online, very good game.

@ Choco - nice avi, I never would have put those colors together. Are you one of the ones who does not like a mouth?

Today's turning out to be one of THOSE days for me. I seem to be in a bit of a funk, and I've got wayyyy too much on my brain... But on a brighter note, my son's third birthday party was yesterday, and we got to see people we haven't seen in almost a year, one of my friends who came I hadn't seen since in almost 3 years. :)

I would encourage you to play one round of a game, work for an hour or two (depending on how long a game takes you) and then keep alternating and maybe throw food in one of the breaks instead of a game. Keeps your brain from frying. It's my favorite way to study.

Lucid, I play MMORPGs. Can't exactly just play one "round" of that.

Ummm... I'll have to check, Cho, but I think I do. I've got all kinds of nifty little projects book marked, we just don't have the funds for the materials at the moment.

My littlest is doing great, Uma. She's weighs 10 lbs now, and is already starting to turn her head from side to side during tummy time and she's only 6 weeks old. :)

actually it is cheap, make him his favorite sandwich and use cookie cutters to make shapes, you can eat the extras xD and if it isn't peanutbutter or sliced hotdogs you can even separate it out after and let him put it together like a puzzle

Oh wow, what a great idea about the cookie cutter food, I wish my mom had done that, haha! Eh, but she had other special things she did. I get to see her this weekend, I am happy about that, I don't see my mom enough living in different states as we do. She is elderly now though...anyhow, heh, that's the way it is. XD :\

Hey Kilala Wow 10lbs, haha, that actually seems very little to me, lol! Hehe, I guess she is not too heavy to carry around. :] Awwww she must be so sweet and wow turning her head, that is great! Gotta love those developmental milestones. XD That is really great you get to be with her and with your son during development time. I know that many women have to work at the 6 week or 8 week mark. Even so, I imagine that however you do it, be it working or not, that following those little advances one's children make must give one the greatest happiness. I have said before that I have no children, just cats, lmao, but I can imagine what it must be like.

And Uma, you're right: She is pretty light, except when she wants to be held for an hour straight, lol. I know right now, though that I'm itching to get back to work. My hubby's been on unemployment since March, and it's driving me bonkers that he's okay just sitting there playing video games. It's like he doesn't want to work at all... *sigh* BUT that's neither here nor there, I got the okie doke from my OB today that I can go swimming, pick up my forty pound three year old, and yes, even go back to work! *happy dance* So first thing in the morning I'm going to get my butt in gear and start putting in applications EVERYWHERE. As much as I enjoy being at home with my kids, I know we need the reliable (or at least as reliable as possible in this economy) income.
Oh, and you have 2 Bengals, right?

Kilala I will trade your 10 lb baby for our 25 lb dog. He likes to be held for hours on end and gets mad when you move your leg our from under his head if you need to pee.

Also I seriously wanted to be Belle but then the blue snuck in and i wanted to play with the new hair.

Aww! 25 lbs isn't so bad, I've got a 60 lb lab mix who's the same way, lol. Although, she's not down here with me right now... :( And Little Miss may only way 10 lbs, but she has quite the personality already. And has no problem letting you know you're not on her level, lol.
And when you say Belle, you mean Beauty and the Beast? That's one of my favorite Disney movies! <3 '>_>
