In the famous bowls I like to put honey on it before I stir the chicken in >:D And I always order extra biscuits...growing up my dad loved them so much everyone else was only allowed 1 even though we had 2-3 orders of them...

Ravelry.com is a pattern and yarn database, and it has forums for all kinds of topics... and there's a notebook feature where you can post information on your projects, like the pattern you used, hook, yarn, pictures, and start and finish dates. the 'ravelry' link in my sig is my project page. it's a free forum for crocheters and knitters too.

now, can it help your hubby to get back into crocheting? i'm pretty sure it can, when you look at all the fun patterns out there you can make!

I've spent a couple hundred on needles and yarn, whatever he said he needs, looms and books, patterns, so on so forth but (this happens a few times with his hobbies) he just stops right after I dish out so much into it.
He picks it up a few years later but at that point half the stuff isn't of use because of situations that ruins it =(

i know they are so cute. I made him watch that video of the porcupine eating a pumpkin so he could feel the guilt.

i'm the crafter, and since i started crocheting in 2012, i really haven't stopped.... i have a bit of yarn (less than a lot of people, but enough to make hubby and the daughters wonder about my sanity when i buy more...), and a few sets of hooks - i have ergonomic Clover Soft Touch hooks, and double-ended bamboo hooks - those are the ones i use the most. they range from B (2.25 mm) to N (10 mm) in size, and a 1.5 mm hook to use with crochet thread. i've made a LOT of stuff. XD

have you seen Harry Potter? the Eleventh Doctor on Dr Who? River Song or Martha Jones (also from Dr Who)? how familiar with Discworld or Farscape? i can show you some of my crochet dolls that there's no way in hell i could draw 'em.
