The universe has a way of not letting things happen if they don't want them to. Believe me.
|
Once again, I hate living in the bible belt! I would love to have people like you who live near me. I want to really learn, but there's no one anywhere near here who isn't christian. Not that I have anything against christianity.
|
I know how you feel. I'm fine with any religion but it can make you feel isolated. Even if I can't be in the same room as you feel free to ask anything you need to know.
|
Thanks. I'm okay... I just hope that College is better...
Wait. Haven't we had this exact conversation before, because I'm getting some Major Deja Voo. |
Just this bit hehe.
And it will be :) Right. I best be off. Jenjen wants the laptop :) |
Alright! See you Tai! Hope you have a good day.
|
just remember the witch's rede. do as ye will, an harm none. as long as he's not hurting anything/one, then don't worry too much.
also, you could look for people in your area on witchvox.com... if you're on facebook, my cousin has a group called the need fire. you can contact her and tell her you know me (Tonya) from here. her name is Alicia Maynard. you could ask her questions and stuff, too. |
Thank you very much Kenly, I probably will do that.
|
Hi all. Just dropping a note before I go out to see an old friend.
Question of the day that's open to all: What is your opinion on ghost's, demons, deamons and the like. I'll give you all my answer later :D |
On ghosts: They exist. I have interacted with them before.
Demons: Are you meaning Malevolent spirits, or something else? Deamons: I think these exist... |
i believe in all three. i've never personally experienced them, but everyone swears to the gods that my aunt's house has at least 2 ghosts (which is where i'm currently living). they haven't bothered me, though.
|
I spoke with one using a Ouija board once... But beyond that and the occasional image of things that I can't explain... I haven't really had any experiance with them.
|
For me it's:
Ghosts: Yes I believe. I've met a few. Demons: Sadly yes. I've met a few of those too. Deamons: Haven't met any of those yet which is a shame to be honest. |
I know what a Demon is... I think, their like evil spirits right?
But what are Deamons? |
Deamons are little spirits that tend to live in houses. They can be helpful or naughty but aren't evil. :)
Demons are spirits that were never human nor animal and have malicious intent. |
Hmmm... I've never seen a Deamon then... But I think that I've noticed things like this.
|
It's possible. These things are pretty much everywhere if you take the time to see them.
Loving your new avvie by the way :) |
Thank you. On a completely different note, Do you know any magical methods to avoid sunburns? Sunscreen does nothing for me.
|
Not really to be honest. The only thing I can advise is clothes with lace or netting to keep cool. Cotton's the best thing to wear and maybe use a parasol.
When you do use sunscreen I also suggest using spf60+. It'll cover all bases. |
what do you guys suggest for de-stressing, besides the mundane things?
|
De-stressing? Is it eustress or distress? I can give you some tips ^^ |
Love the rainbows 'pets'
Meditation, lavender and quiet. The perfect formula for relaxation. |
Is anybody here? Helloooo?
|
Hi. Been out all day :D
|
Hi there Tai! How are you today?
|
I'm good. Waaay too warm but ok. You?
|
That's why I'm staying inside. The temp outside is killer, not to mention that it's humid. Yuck.
|
It's the humidity that kills me . Gah.
|
Same here. Do you know any sites that has info on various plants and their pagan uses, or on various gems? Theirs a farmer's market every saturday here, and I want to know about what I may buy...
|
I'll have a look round. I'm more of a book person than an internet person. But I'll do my best ^_^
Edit: For gems http://www.rainbowcrystal.com/crystal/crystal3c.html Aaaaand plants http://www.earthwitchery.com/herbsa-g.html |
Thank you Tai!
|
No problem ^_^
|
So... What should we talk about now?
|
Ack, I'm off to bed, but random question to be answered whenever you feel like it.... :
What is your spirit animal? |
So....after a long period of internet problems, I seem to be back...can't assure the internet won't die again though >.>
Not that it matters cause I don't think anyone is even here right now... So what have I missed? |
Well... I have no idea what you've missed *Reads siggy* Wait... I think I knew someone named goat before I vanished...
|
Spirit animal huh? No one's quite sure with me, but there are two candidates.
The first is a lion/ess (not quite sure which) but that's mainly taken from my personality more than anything. It also feels right. Second is a black fox, with three tails; this one feels right too, and i give such an accurate description because during a troubling time at secondary school (high school) i saw it a lot in my dreams. You can have more than one, though, or so i've heard, so maybe for me both are true. Who knows. |
Hiiiii Morti. Hi all. :D
Mine's a black cat. ^_^ |
Hematite Healing Spell
Hold a Hematite stone, feel it's vibrations and channel healing energy into the stone. Chant: "Stone of Hematite Stone so black Give me the healing energy That I lack Stone of Hematite Heal me now With the speed of light!" __________________________________________________ ________________________ Known to be cultivated both for culinary and medical purposes as far back as Ancient Egypt and the Ancient Greeks, Chicory Root granules (Cichorium intybus) remain popular throughout Europe and American today. This is in part due to the popularity of its caffeine-like effects despite being naturally decaffeinated, which results in it sometimes being used as a substitute to coffee. Indeed, when it is ground up and roasted it is sometimes impossible to distinguish from coffee grounds. Its popularity as such has perhaps not quite caught on though, due to its notably sour taste. When brewed as a tea or tonic, Chicory Root is sometimes used to ease digestive disorders and is known to be of use in treating gallstone problems. It is also popular among farmers who will sometimes use it as a forage supplement. This is due to the fact that it in addition to its ability to ease digestive matters, it is also known to be toxic to internal parasites. Chicory is linked to the Element of Air, and it's Planet is the Sun.
