I'm actually not a huge fan of the newer Star Wars stuff, I much prefer old school Star Wars things, though I have read some of the New Republic stuff. It's been a while.

Awesome, I mainly read because of all the elaboration on the nature of the Force and especially all the rising falling of the Sith...cause the Sith are amazing

I like history too. I should read more about Sith history though. I've been interested, but haven't really read up about that yet.

Well of course the whole thing started with the great jedi schism but the rest of the history is just too vast to write down... google Wookieepedia they have the most comprehensive database of star wars knowledge I've ever seen
