I really liked yours. It was a really hard decision between you and Nexx. I think that is was a good start. Definitely cute/gory, but I feel that maybe more gore could have gave it that advantage. This challenge was really hard for us. Because everyone has their own perception on cute and everyone did such a great job. I'm really happy that you stayed in this competition. I can't wait to see the next avatar you'll be making.

Tim burton uses a lot of swirls, black and white, and stripped things. He's also very unique and simple at the same time. I think this site has PERFECT items for this challenge.

He doesn't always do that, look at sleepy hollow, Edward scissor hands, sweeny todd, corpse bride. Everything is dull, bleak... the exception to that rule was sweeny todd when he showed some bright glimpses of the past.

Thing with Tim Burton it depends on what kind of movie you are aiming for because though he's kind of morbid, he shows it in different ways.

All I can think of is the Alice movie he did...
And I like the white queen
she was pretty. Elegant.

Definitely! I completely agree. I'm pretty sure I've watched way too many also. Haha. This is kind of your choice as well. Do what you like out of his work the most, and I'm sure it'll show. He has so many different styles, but keeps it in his own unique way. I think this challenge is great. It lets everyone do what they feel is Tim Burton-esque. :)
