Mmm, but this isn't a steady source of income.
I never get money, and my mom doesn't spoil me at all. It takes ages to get a penny out of her, and if I do, there's always a catch. So once I get my cheque from the government, I like to spend a bit of it on my own. I'm fine if she expects me to spend 11 bucks out of it so I can pay for my own birth control. But good boots will eat up most of the rest of my cheque. :/ And it's the LAST ONE I'll be getting for the rest of the year. (/sigh) |
You can find good or decent boots at a thrift store. I run into the issue of finding my size. Wally world while their boots are affordable they are affordable for a reason. XD I tend to wear my wallmart shoes out quickly, though my last pair of shoes I lucked out. My grandma and I caught a sale at rackroom where everything was buy one get the second pair half off. This included clearance. She bought her shoes full price, my shoes were 11 bucks.

No idea what Wally World is, other than the water park, or Rackroom. I've been to the thrift store just recently, and they didn't have boots... I'm from a small town. Our Sally Anne (Salvation Army) isn't ginormous. And the only other second-hand store in town is New 2 You, and their shoes never sell or update. I swear, the same shoes have been sitting there for years. I dunno. I guess I'm being a bit selfish by saying I want them new and unused. I'll go to a thrift store for clothes any day, it's where 98% of my clothes are from. The rest are hand-me-downs. But shoes? Eh... |

XD its always a fun trip to wallyworld. oddly jeans are something I prefer to buy new. I feel so strange in other peoples pants no matter how much I wash them. and yeah its understandable. Given how much you might have to walk in them I can see why you would want the them to be new. |
Lol. Out of the few jeans I own, I've only bought two and they were from Bluenotes.
All the rest are from my friend Amanda since we have about the same hip size. She's a little bit bigger, so some of the waist lines are a bit loose. But not enough to fall down. xD Most of the shirts I own are from her, too. She'll give me giant garbage bags full of clothes. Ironically, most of the clothes she use to get were her sisters. So my clothes are technically hand-me-hand-me-downs. Lmao. Oh well, I got lucky. Most of the clothes are Aeropostale or other nice brands. Yeah...if I'm gonna buy shoes, I want them to be good and long-lasting. I've been wearing my boyfriends shoes for the last year, because we have the same foot size. Reeboks that were once white, but are now stained an off-white. xD |
I get a lot of shirts that way. Most of my clothes come from Corovingh another user on here and my Grandma. She is the only one that gives me clothes. Some times I find nice shirts at the thrift store and the goodwill store but lately I have not. I need to go questing for a sweater, it is getting colder here and I have no winter clothes. So most of the time I look like a giant patchwork person. I never wear stuff that is fashionable, it does not come in my size xD.

Mhmm! I've found some really nice shirts at thrift stores. Some of my favourite shirts are from there. Lol. I have tons of sweaters. xDD I'd lend you some if I could. I am big there is no doubt about it. I am tall, I got the strangest and hardest body shape to dress too. I am an apple body shape, my normal size to wear is a 20 but is only if it fits my arms. Normally I have to go two sizes bigger just to get a shirt to come to my wrist because I have long limbs. The other thing is fitting my breast so by the time I am done, clothing that isn't billowy and drapes look kinda strange or is uncomfortable. I am 5'10 which is tall for a girl I suppose. So no sexy boots because it throws my balance off. That sort of thing.

Funnily enough, an old lady called him 12 once. It's hilarious. xDDD When we go to the bar, they have a hard time believing his age when he hands them his health card. xDD It's always amusing. He looks older with short hair though. That was taken at the end of August. >>;; Nephew's 2nd birthday. Vintage is so awesome. I have an old vintage-looking vest that I use to wear all the time. I remember the picture you showed me of him and his dog, and I thought he can't be any more then 17, that one he at least looks a bit older then 12 but you are right his hair makes the difference. He also looks like he has lost weight.

It was an old one. Surprisingly, he's gained at least 10 or 15 pounds since he quit doing drugs. And I think his cheeks looked chubby in that other picture because he was giving a big grin. Lol. He's got high cheekbones like his mom. |

He's good with kids. My niece and nephew love him, so whenever we're at my sisters, or whenever they're here, they always want to play with him. That box was just a fort/house of sorts. He had to be in it because my niece ordered him to be in there. She was throwing grass at him and putting it in his hair for a good half hour. xD |
