I've never worn a corset though, so I'm not qualified on the subject

I've seen some, that are more like art pieces to be fair, made out of clay. I might try to make one eventually, but I'm not very good yet.

I've seen some really beautiful purses made to look like a corset with a handle. My grandma found it absolutely repulsive.

Well no, it wouldn't be functional per se. But I wouldn't mind having one. I think it was quite cute really. And very statement like. My grandma has a cow about my cleavage showing. And when she was complaining, I was bent over trying to pick up something for her -_- So she saw straight down my shirt.

My grandma doesn't really leave the house, so I'm good. When she does, it literally takes two of us to take her shopping. One to go with her to get her into those auto wheel chairs, while the other goes and parks the car. One of us has to be with her at all times or else she tends to leave a trail of destruction with the auto wheel chairs. >_<

She's taken out displays before.
