Well, to me, silver and gray are the same. Different shades, yes, but still the same. It's also like saying rose and pastel pink aren't both pinks. They are, just different flavors of it. That goes for silvers, golds, and all the other offsets.

In the technical sense they actually are the same. The only difference between silver and grey is a metallic sheen, this is also the same with gold &b yellow and Copper and brown.
In a completely artistic sense they are not the same at all, both colours are unique and they do not look the same :| So you're both right. |

Yes, I usually use blonde items for gold, too. xD It looks prettier gold to me rather than orange one we often have. xD

I know without the metallic sheen gold becomes yellow, silver becomes grey, copper/bronze become brown but I was speaking from an artistic point of view where they are not the same color because of how such colors are shaded. I apologise for starting an argument, I was stating my opinion but shall stay away from stating my opinion on colors.
