depending on the genetics, apparently it's rare for a cat to be able to taste sweet things, but possible? hell if i know.

:/ huh. Interesting. Though, I think cats don't necessarily need sweet things in their diets anyways. :) *shrug* I've never seen a cat that liked sweets. X) Only sweet cats. XD

i follow two basic rules for cats i set back many moons ago (1995 seems about right)

#1. Cats are Weird.
#2. When in doubt, see Rule #1

there's a veranda across from the building where i live, and there are often a couple of kittens there. mostly in the evening. i think they roam with their parent during the day and are told to stay put there in the evening
