It's having something actually *hit* the angel (or another character) that's the issue. Make your intentions known in the post, ie. pull the trigger, say the bullet is flying, but don't say that the bullet actually hits. That's taking someone else's destiny into your own hands (hence why it's called godmodding.) Stop when the (metaphorical) bullet is in the air.

I feel the need to point out since she isn't here at the moment, Galla was seriosuly planning to have fishboy go poke the angel, which would serve to circumvent that particular issue.

Oh...I just rewrote it. Angel has a set of tiles fall into its face.
(As a note, this is very non-Kadia. Her natural response from the beginning would be to punch Thomas in the face...and she is running...)

If memory serves, Thomas was the one who went crashing into his desk and splintered the whole thing.

Considering the gear Thomas has, and his already disposition towards just killing her, I'd assume a fight would wind up with either her or Rurik dead. Hence she can't fight. Hence the angel is called upon.

Okay, I hope I read your post well enough to respond. I'm not entirely sure what Kadia was doing. Also, don't take anything Tarja says as a comment on you, personally. She's just lippy. ;)

Part of the fun (I think) role play is keeping in character, so I wouldn't try to doctor your actions too much according to what you think will happen in the role play. If you're worried about Kadia getting killed, say so, and I'm sure we'll come up with something to keep her alive, even if she punches Thomas in the face. ;). Remember that you don't need to try and do or carry things single handed. We're all here too. :)

Yeah, certain RPCs aren't going to just stand around while someone's getting killed.

In that case, Thomas has an enemy now. Kadia does not forget her enemies. Also, I wish I had known that beforehand. I pretty much resorted to "deus ex danger" to get out of that situation without Kadia seeming like a coward (as both she and I see it).
I didn't know that. As Thomas was the head and one of the more powerful, I figured he had free reign.

We aren't too far ahead that you can't still change things, Lawtan. And things just mess up sometimes in RP. Don't worry about it too much. When you have half a dozen people writing in the same story line, it's not always going to perfectly smooth.
