|
@Ashy: You have to show me that manor when I do visit. *gamefaise* |
I would love to go to Australia and meet Ashy. *w*
Airi, my aunt's dad is a member of the 70 and just got called to go do something in the Austrailia/New Zealand area. :O he was the Area President or something in Africa before. they're excited to be in a much safer place now. |
My biggest dream is to travel the world and write a book about it (cultural psychology) but money has a big role in doing it. D: |
yeah, money is a huge problem in almost everything I want to do. D:
the laws of physics ruin the other dreams. |
I agree, not only that, but also society...if they think it's wrong...you have no other choice, but to AGREE with them or you'll be burned in the faggots D: |
That is probably really true. My brother gets home from his mission on june 29th!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
social norms suck. D: I was just talking to a girl in my ward today about how annoying mormon culture is when it comes to telling young adults to get married early and to have as many sweet mormon babies as possible.
|
I don't know mormon culture pushes that idea? *blinks* sometimes, other religion is chaining people down. DX |
sometimes it feels like that. DX I will get married when I feel like it's time to get married; I won't rush it just because people will think I'm an old spinster if I'm not married by age 22.
|
Say whut? You're not an old spinster at that age...seriously. =_=; The best age to have a baby is 28, why? because by that time, the woman's womb is healthy enough for the child. *sighs* |
My parents are upset that i'm moving out of mormonville because they don't think i'll meet an appropriate guy anywhere else....
and as soon as i'm done with the culinary degree they want me to come right back to utah..... heck no! after getting my degree i am going to move to where i want to set up my business which is NOT utah! |
I do not want to live in Utah. D: your parents are insane. there are plenty of great guys outside of Utah, and PLENTY of creepy ones INSIDE Utah. ;WWW;
I know that 22 isn't old at all, but in mormon culture it is. my Advertising professor has a daughter that's in her senior year of college, and last semester some guy asked why she wasn't married yet. DDDDDD: |
Yea! I mean there are plenty of great guys outside of utah, but my family wants me to still conform to their ideals..... O_o it's soooo annoying! But it will be a very interesting thing for me to just get out on my own like that.
|
@Lucid and Airina: What? That's insane, there are better guys outside of Utah >.>;; (not that I've been there, but I know other places have greater people) and that's crazy...We're not in the anglo-saxon age, that 16 years old is the perfect age to get married D: some things in this world need to change and some tend to remain just the way they are. |
