What's a Witch Ball?

Now that one i can't completely describe. The best answer i can give is it's kinda like a crystal ball. Should be somewhere online, i'll search for a decent link and edit it into this post for you.

Bored and job-hunting. Cooking up spells and wondering whether to put another drop of moldavite oil in my oil burner tonight. The weaker one, of course. I'm so not using the newer (and still unfinished) batch until i have a handle on this stuff. The dreams are too vivid and i can't control them as it is. :D

So what does this Moldavite oil do to your dreams?

Moldavite is reputed to aid in making a connection to higher realms and beings as well as accelerate personal growth and evolution. Pretty much the dreams are seriously vivd and more than a little freaky. It'd differ slightly for each person obviously, but i think it'd have a similar effect.
I put one tiny drop of moldavite oil, that was only one lunar month strong, in my oil burner with my regular sleepy-time blend and woke up the next day completely freaked out. I haven't done it since because it scared me; i couldn't control it at all and normally i have some control over what happens in my dreams. I know i probably just need to practice to control this but i'm not doing it again for a while. |
I've never had much control over my dreams, so I just tend to flow with it. How did the door thing go Raven?

I'm not sure, nothing odd happened in the night . . . i'll leave it for another night and see what happens.
Oh, i've found the diary i wrote the date in for when i started this batch of moldavite oil; the bottle's been going since March 3rd. And i've no intention of stopping it yet because i've still got the first batch left :D |

I did tarot and the crystals in that shop i worked in. Still do them for friends and family. It's intuition based, since you only get the card's name and you work from the picture. You'll start off with a basic set of interpretations and then, as you gain more confidence, you'll get more accurate and start hitting on things. Don't worry if you blurt out something to somebody that has nothing to do with the meaning given to you by the book(let); that's when your intuition comes into play and the cards come alive ;)
You'll find different decks have different structures and meanings. I own two full decks of the original Mythic Tarot deck; the second came to me via a friend, they hadn't been well looked after and needed more than a little TLC. Right as rain now though and they work just as well as the deck i bought :D I'll pass the second deck on when i find someone who needs them. It'll probably be family or a close friend though. |
^_^ I have a few decks. I like to collect them. I have a truth seeker deck, a deck from the 1800's, a deck from the 1960's, a necromicon deck, a manga deck and my working deck that I can't remember the name of lol.
Jenjen has a rider thwait (or something) deck that she uses. :D I have a set of oracle cards I made too :) |

The Rider Waite deck. It's the one that all modern ones are now based off of, for the structure. It has traditional christian artwork, usually. I've seen a couple with less conventional designs. Oracle cards are mainly cheating in my opinion; the meaning's written on most versions :)
I don't collect them simply because of something that happened when i was younger; i made a strong connection with an Egyptian themed deck owned by the mother of a friend, to the extent where within five minutes i was barely looking at the book. When i offered to buy it she refused to sell it even though she had no interest in them beyond collecting decks. I try not to have them if i won't use them. . . . I wanna pick up my cards now :D |

The Shadows and Light is COMPLETELY you, Tai. I made a connection with them instantly. I never use my Manga Deck, or my Vampire Deck, because I don't really have that strong of a link to them. You can see some of the art work on Google-- she's got lots of faes, mermaids... VERY spooky deck. The art was done by one of my favorite faery artists of all time. She's even got a trick or treat faery thrown in there. :3 |

If you look at Nemisis Now (i think), you'll find a lot of gothic-themed art with dragons and stuff in them. I love them and want them all. I have one as a door-poster; the one with all the butterflies with skull wings and the fairie looking into the pool and the skeleton as her reflection.
