So I've been all gushy about planning today o3o

Lucid: 03-11-2013 01:18 AM

That sounds way cool. :O I've seen some really gorgeous dresses with color, and a gamer cake seems like it would be way awesome. Just make sure you have plenty of time to plan. The earlier you settle on a cake maker and a florist and all those things, the easier it is to get exactly what you want.

Mizeria 03-11-2013 01:19 AM

the date I had in mind is over a year away
^^;

Lucid: 03-11-2013 01:25 AM

:O Over a year seems like a really long time, but that definitely gives plenty of planning time! I feel like 9 months to a year is a decent amount of time to plan something really elaborate. I had like 4 months to plan, but we did our own flowers, ordered the cake from a culinary school, and rented a golf course lounge that really didn't need much decoration. I didn't go very elaborate at all.

Mizeria 03-11-2013 01:27 AM

but you loved it didn't you?
Thats all that matters.

I was thinking some more complex DIY decor items.
as well as some other stuff.
And I wanted to lose weight for the wedding.
so I figured I would give it some time.
(Another reason I haven't forced obbie to talk with me about details and dates)
xD

Obbiesan 03-11-2013 01:38 AM

Also cause im bad at details for anything =P

Arikana 03-11-2013 01:39 AM

o3o You can't be that bad at planning detailed stuff, Obbie... o3o

Lucid: 03-11-2013 01:48 AM

I absolutely did love it! The most important part is that you enjoy the best day of your life.

Oh that reminds me, dress shopping should be done at least like 5 months out. Most dress stores will have all the popular styles in most sizes in the back, but a lot of the less popular styles, less common styles, and hecka expensive designer dresses need to be special ordered, which can take a while. And that's not even mentioning time for alterations. Since white is most popular, I would guess a dress with color would be more likely to be on order. Just something to watch out for.

Mizeria 03-11-2013 01:50 AM

Lucid; I was looking at a dress that cost like $250
sooo I think I'll be fine

Ari; its more of that we have weird hours recently and haven't been able to sit down and really talk about stuff

Obbie; don't lie to them
you're not bad at details!
though the ducky tie thing is still throwing me off.
XDD

Obbiesan 03-11-2013 01:54 AM

I WANT THE DUCKY TIE DAMNIT

Batty 03-11-2013 01:56 AM

-slowly creeps out-

Mizeria 03-11-2013 02:11 AM

But WHY Obbie? I don't get it
o.o;;

-hugs batty-
why you leave?

Obbiesan 03-11-2013 02:48 AM

Mizeria 03-11-2013 02:53 AM

lol, maaaaaaaybe probably i'll think bout it xDD
<333
/picks on

Lucid: 03-11-2013 03:01 AM

:O that's a great deal on a dress!

Ducky tie whut? xD That's so very silly!

Mizeria 03-11-2013 03:02 AM

it better be one hell of a tie!
Is all I gotta say =P

and the dress doesn't have to be fancy as all hell.
as long as its all pretty 'n shit.
as long as I look good in it.
ya kno?
It doesn't have to cost an arm and a long and part of my soul to buy.
