I would not like powdered potato pancakes. I don't even like real mashed potatoes made into patties and fried. It's just not the same.

I love potatoes so in general I make them. Add ons make them even better and I can make it into a meal.

All this talk of potatoes ....

I'm going to slice and roast some with a little olive oil, garlic powder and parmesan cheese. Yummy! :D

The powdered ones can go well with cheese and spices. Just not useful for making other things that require potatoes.

*stomach grumbling now* xD

Yummy Zen!

I am now being forced to watch Mamma Mia…..

ZenKitty 04-22-2016 07:25 PM

The Broadway play of that was fun. Is the movie not good?

Tiva 04-22-2016 07:41 PM

I am not a big fan of musicals

My Mom and Grandmother on the other hand are….

ZenKitty 04-22-2016 07:46 PM

Ah. It wouldn't be fun for you then. Sorry you're being subjected to it.

Tiva 04-22-2016 08:02 PM

I am use to it

The only Musical I have ever liked in Into the Woods

I tolerated Le Mis (Play) in college and got dragged to Rent which in premise i liked but I hated the music
Le Mis was at least tolerable.

ZenKitty 04-22-2016 09:15 PM

Into the Woods was really great!

Tiva 04-22-2016 09:32 PM

I love the movie version of it, I watch it way too often.

ZenKitty 04-22-2016 09:40 PM

I've only seen the movie version once, but I loved it.

I own the DVD and have it in my sewing room for whenever I am working.

That sounds kind of like the hashbrown casserole I made the other day. Except mine also had cornflakes, cream of mushroom soup and cheddar cheese (as well as the onions and sour cream).

Looks delicious and a meal in itself.

Tiva 04-23-2016 08:08 PM

Casseroles are typically a meal on there own… at least good ones are.
