leave out the part you don't like!

ZenKitty 10-22-2017 11:57 AM

Hello everyone!

Loving all of the Halloweeny avatars.

Glitch 10-22-2017 12:22 PM

yes it is the best time of year :3

ZenKitty 10-22-2017 12:33 PM

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. Love to decorate for it. Got some decorations up but I've got to find some way to hang some lights around our window for Halloween. There are three sets of lights just looking to be put up some place.

Glitch 10-22-2017 12:36 PM

halloween and thanksgiving are my favorites!

ZenKitty 10-22-2017 01:01 PM

Thanksgiving is fun too when I can share it with family and/or friends. Not sure what we're doing for Thanksgiving this year - or for Christmas. Better try to figure out what the game plan is for both of those. :P

Glitch 10-22-2017 01:26 PM

i just like cooking all the food XDD

ZenKitty 10-22-2017 01:32 PM

Oh yes! The food!

I try to find a group of people to come over and then I'll buy a big ole organic free range turkey and roast it with awesome stuffing. Love the smells of cooking and of course, eating the yummy food.

What's your favorite Thanksgiving food?

mdom 10-22-2017 01:42 PM

we don't celebrate thanksgiving here either |D
only food holiday is new year's.

Glitch 10-22-2017 02:08 PM

i love baking the turkey. I am turkey pro. A podcast wanted me to come on and talk about how great my turkey cooking is but i chickened out.

ZenKitty 10-22-2017 02:21 PM

Wow - that's really awesome, Glitch. Too bad you chickened out.

What do you do to make your turkey so wonderful?

tsukiko 10-22-2017 02:23 PM

*waves* hi everyone. how's it all going?

Glitch 10-22-2017 02:27 PM

uhm i stuff it with apples celery and onions! XD and i dunno what else but it is never dry ouo

tsukiko 10-22-2017 02:30 PM

my sister would use beer to moisten our bird. but she's gone total vegan, so i'm on my own for thanksgiving this year. idk how to roast anything >____< but it wouldn't be thanksgiving without some sort of meat dish. i was thinking of roasting up a fryer. shouldn't be too difficult, right?

mdom 10-22-2017 02:37 PM

should've turkey'd out on the podcast
amirite guys, uh??/ uh???

ZenKitty 10-22-2017 02:50 PM

We always use a cooking bag and shake flour flavored with garlic powder and pepper. Then we lay celery sticks and onion slices on the bottom and rub the turkey skin with olive oil and crushed sage, thyme and rosemary. It's flavorful and moist.

And now I want some turkey. :P
