ahhhh my shoes usually come from thrift stores LOL! the last pair i bought from a "real store" were my lems and that was online. my mom insisted i get a pair for work. they are really nice even if they are goofy looking xD i'd like to one day get a pair of their mary janes to go with my dresses

I'm an old person at heart and lately I've been buying from the same brand as my mom... a comfort-based one xD so they're not really pretty, but they don't cause calluses.

tsukiko 12-17-2017 01:12 PM

lems kinda make your feet look like duck feet cause they are bigger in the toe area to promote good toe posture? idk...but they are super comfy

mdom 12-17-2017 01:34 PM

Hmm I wonder if they're sold here... I already have duck feet xD

tsukiko 12-17-2017 01:38 PM

there are stores around the world and they do ship practically everywhere. but they are a pretty penny...and loads of ugly ones xD but they definitely helped with my feet hurting all the time.

/googles
ohhh a bit out of my range right now xD

dragoness129 12-17-2017 02:57 PM

My feet hurt all the time, but I don't wanna spend the money they want for the "good" types of shoes. So I deal with cheap Walmart ones. $20 for shoes is about my limit.

mdom 12-17-2017 04:27 PM

gotta do some good thrift store hunting!!

Serra Britt 12-17-2017 06:17 PM

I generally have to go with inexpensive shoes myself. I did get some beautiful, comfortable, warm winter boots from a thrift store. Spent more on them than I usually do for shoes but they are great!

mdom 12-17-2017 07:11 PM

Yay for comfy boots!

I don't have boots but it's never cold here so xD

Serra Britt 12-17-2017 09:41 PM

It is very cold here XD

mdom 12-17-2017 11:21 PM

like I find it super cool those long coats that go beyond the hip, but here... when can I use them xDDD

Den 12-17-2017 11:22 PM

most of my shoes are inexpensive. I honestly haven't spent more than $35 for a pair of shoes in almost five years...

Serra Britt 12-18-2017 01:21 AM

Same. I actually don't buy shoes very often at all. Even the nice boots were still on $28, it's just a lot more than I usually spend on shoes.

tsukiko 12-18-2017 02:47 AM

normally, i don't spend more than $30ish for shoes, but my mom bought the lems for my birthday and wouldn't take a no for an answer.

my winter boots i got from the goodwill bins (basically anything that doesn't sell and/or isn't good enough to be sold at the regular goodwill stores gets sent there) and you pay by the pound. i got them last year when they hadn't raised their prices slightly, so i got the shoes, a monster high doll, a he-man catra figure, and a couple other things for $3 total.

that's a good haul!!
I wish we had those around here <.<
