Mmmnoo, but their cousins the Cuttlefish do! :}
So can certain octopi!
But as for a legit rainbow lookin' deep critter, comb jellies are pretty neat. They make rainbow lights in order to move around. x}

<If you're talking about *my* head and screen -- I don't have organic parts. So no actual nerves. I do have sensors, though.>

AHHH that creature is so cool, Mer! I'm gonna dive deep down and be their friend!!!

Sensors make more sense, Espy xD

Witchchylde 08-16-2019 05:01 PM

That would make a cool friend indeed. Rave jelly!

I collect spare cats, just an FYI to y'all.

:p-cool:

Biomecha 08-16-2019 07:08 PM

Can you collect the ones that hang out in my backyard? I still have scars from one that bit me a few months ago.

mdom 08-16-2019 08:16 PM

The deer should play with those cats

x} They're super ancient too! They've been on earth longer than cockroaches! If anyone knows how to party, they do, just by existing. xD They aren't too bright tho, no brain/heart/stomach n' all. <x}

KittyBeary 08-17-2019 04:51 AM

Ancient sea creatures are mighty interesting!

Merskelly Metalien 08-17-2019 12:53 PM

Aren't they? :D They're probably the closest to alien animals earth will know about. Like, the Nautilus, that has had little change in it's evolution, and the gulper eel is mega weird-lookin', also polychaete worms are pretty ancient I think.

<...Yes. Although perhaps not as sensitive as human nerve endings.>

mdom 08-17-2019 09:36 PM

since the thread is tagged M I can tell that reminds me of that French movie, in which the rich guy has no movement below the neck and his poor caretaker/friend asks him about sex and then rich guy tells him he achieves pleasure by ear caressing

Biomecha 08-17-2019 09:57 PM

The Intouchables?

mdom 08-17-2019 10:04 PM

Yes!
There's an American version coming... sighs

Sex is pretty much overrated anyway, but it'd piss me off if I needed someone to feed me whenever I crave pizza.

Also fantastic cuttlefish imagery.
