I have my cart now, so I can go to the library and check out books without having to worry about my arms cramping! I do want to still find my backpack, as that's a little more convenient, even if the cart folds up nicely.

You're gonna have to check the release dates. If the book isn't a century old it's extremely likely it's the rewritten version

Uh, I don't think that would help. They're all translations and cheapo paperbacks, so it only shows the release date of the local version. No idea which one they had as a source. But now that you mention it, I do think the sixties version from my stack is a lot more innocent and tame than the eighties one. I always thought that was an attempt to draw younger readers towards Nancy Drew as well.

I should write more... Write a series but use wildly varying styles so no on believes I really wrote all of them.

Just pick a place that has stuff you like and send it in, I assume. Most places have submission guidelines and will say if they take unsolicited stuff.

I have a picture book in mind but I'm not sure how to present it because they don't want pictures (they have their own illustrators) and the pictures are telling a lot of the story. So, do I describe things or just submit the written half?
