@Lanyer: I don't think it will be messy.... but I do have to wait, which is not of the fun.

Yeah the waiting isn't fun.

Luckily, we have no children, so we don't need lawyers or drawn out court sessions or any of that. And what is mine remains mine... what is his can stay his. It'll be clean-cut.

I'm 20 (I'll be 21 next month) and I'm single. Like, 100%, never ever been taken or anything close to taken, single.

I wouldn't have married him had I known this was going to happen... not the divorce part, but rather the 'lack of love and completely using of me' part.

That's how I felt about my ex, I should have seen the warning signs though along with the biggest one too. He had to be told "either marriage or kids an I are gone. >.>

Mine was different. It was complete lack of attention. And when he did give it to me, it'd be right after I'd had a fit about the neglect... but before long, he'd be back to the same-old, same-old of ignoring.

Mine ignored me an the kids, he always had the signs of cheating as well. Still I married him thinking it was just me an I did love him at the time.

I'm already trying to look, but I feel as though I'm still trapped. I don't wear my wedding ring (as that's far from appropriate in my eyes) but that doesn't change the fact I still feel chained.

I'm sure you'll feel better about it after the divorce is final.
