Clubhouse forums in general. Some Merchant stores can be a hangout place for some people to go.

The Brothel is a popular hangout, and the Werewolf Game starting soon could be a good way to ease your way back into roleplaying.
Jibber-jabber and the rest of central square (besides the games, avoid those) are also good places to hold conversations and meet lots of people.

It's not as hard as it may seem. Just gotta know the right people and branch out. Here, on Saturday I'm starting a large werewolf game in the RP section of the site. If you sign up that would be a great opportunity for you to chat around and meet a bunch of people. The link is in my signature.
