It just takes practice and discovering a way that works best for you. xD Good luck! C:

That would be great guys. ^^ Pixeling or coding. |
And oh man if I could learn pixelling, anyone really could XD [/inept]
I've always wanted to try though, I just literally do not know how to start. |
I start by making a sketch in Photoshop on a base of a pose, then on a new layer, using the pencil tool to make a pixel base, then making another layer above that one that is masked to do shading and adding more layers as needed. I use this color scheme as a guide. I use the middle grey as the base.

I've heard of people using mask for layers, for shading, but I honestly never ever have, I have -no- idea what it's for. I use multiple layers for shading but I always choose the shading colors myself and paint them directly on top of one another. I adjust the brush's settings for coloring but I've never touched a layer's own settings. |

It provides greater freedom in shading, especially if you're like me and you work with gradients a lot. Layer making works as such, you have 2 layers. Your base and what you want to use above it. After you put whatever you like on both layers (for purpose of testing, flood fill the 2 layers with 2 very different colours), add the mask to the too layer. You would notice that a clipping layer of white is added to the side and whatever was the too layer is invisible. The white layer can be considered as the white paper you mask with in traditional painting. Whatever is under that white, stays the same. Now while on the masking layer(you'll notice you're on that layer when you brush colour changes to white and black), try scribbling something with a black brush! Any kind would do, soft or hard. You'd notice that your topmost colour reveals when you use ,black, even though you can't really see that you're using black. And that's how making works. You can put anything on those 2 layers when you want to have greater control over hiding and revealing stuff without messing with the original layers! |
I would like to see more masculine items to be honest, like military armor and such.
And more tech-based items, I'm not much of a fantasy, D&D type guy... I'm more Halo, Metal Gear Solid, and Tron type of guy. As for pixeling... I'm not good. I tried...but... well look under spoils. I was trying to model it after this. http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/MJOLNIR_P...rmor/V_variant |
-=What you're allergic to cats?...=- http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...ividerLong.jpg let me know if i can do something to help, i'll try what i can to help out... http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...otes/Stare.png http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l7...ividerLong.jpg -=It's alright, I'm allergic to you...=- |
Time to start pixeling something. :D Practice make better!

I had an experience with coding before, but I know I am not that good. However, I would love to learn/study and be serious about it if I had to...and also, I would love to be trained. *shifty eyes* |
Another Pixel from panda...:D

That's right he doesn't get a choice. Lol. |
He does seem like a good man, though, Chasm. xD Patient and loving. You think he could like Trisphee? >.>;
