Hope you had fun.. I've been practicing using GIMP... So far I'm going to start drawing avatars until I figure out how to pixel...
So far I kinda understand a little bit... The only thing I figured out is that I need my own pad xD But the shift and cursor button does wonders for making something neat..

Rem 04-09-2011 03:35 AM

Aw I'd have loved to, but I wasn't at home, but at work, so no skype-ing for me. I think I left right after posting that anyway xD
Oh!
I would like the livestream please Fen :3

Fenris 04-09-2011 03:39 AM

Rem I need you to sign an NDA and you to send me the info i needed from the first post XD

Fenris 04-09-2011 04:07 AM

Rem send me the stuff from the front when you get back on (mainly age and stuff) and then I will send you the NDA. Thanks ^^;;;

Rem 04-09-2011 12:11 PM

Deeeeeerpppppp
Sorry about that Fen I totally forgot about that xD;;; even though everyone's been talking about it
My mind has gone

Coda 04-09-2011 12:25 PM

I'm looking into it right now, but I think it might have just opened up.

Rem 04-11-2011 02:22 PM

Okay so
I tried to do a simple shirt
I've worked on this abouuut...I think an hour and a half?
I had the folds looking really nice, then I fuxed up and tried to fix, and apparently there's just a -going over it too much- period where I was at a point of no return on fixing it xD Should have started over...
And I was starting to like..get it, get the concept of what I was trying to do.... but then I lost it xDD
however, I dont think it's too bad for a first attempt

left is totally just pixels and opacity variances, right uses blur/smudge.

This isn't finished - the edges need to be cleaned up like woah but i'm sleepy xD

Fenris 04-11-2011 03:29 PM

That is definitely not bad for a first attempt. When you are on send me a message so I can send you a message.

Batty 04-11-2011 03:31 PM

I've been practicing, as well.

But with my dinky touch pad, I'm trying to be a perfectionist. ><;

Fashion Zombie 04-12-2011 12:02 AM

Okay. So I'm a little late to the party (like always). I was just checking to see if you were still looking for volunteers and if so, how much prior experience do you want them to have?

Fashion Zombie, this should answer your question:

Art Positions

As an avatar site, Trisphee's most frequent need is for skilled artists. In addition to the general requirements listed in the first post, applicants for art positions must be able to devote at least ten hours per week to creating artwork for Trisphee. Artists must be able to meet specified deadlines and follow specific written and/or drawn designs.

Pixel artists must be skilled in soft-shaded/tool-shaded style that matches existing Trisphee items.

How to Apply
If you are an artist wishing to apply to Trisphee, send an application to Fenris via Trisphee private message or via e-mail to trisphe@gmail.com (note: one e). This application must include your real name, Trisphee username, age, and a link to a portfolio demonstrating your relevant skills and abilities, as well as any other qualifications you feel are relevant. The application will be reviewed by the Trisphee art staff. If your application is accepted, you will receive a test image or item to illustrate. The test must be completed in a timely manner and satisfy the theme or design given to you. If all of the requirements are met, and there is an open position, you will be hired. If no positions are available you will be informed of this and given the option to be put on a waiting list for future openings.
