Bastion moves a set out for Malia to sit in.
"Dinner." He said waiting for Malia to sit down.

Malia sat down "thank you" she said softly pulling the chair in

Bastian sits down, waiting bored. He swirls his fingers on the white table cloth.
"I'm surprised you haven't ask anything about were we are."

Malia smiled "because I don't really care, it must be special if you were brave enough to get me in a dress" she said

"It's my Grandma's birthday party, my parents wanted to make a good impression so they asked me to bring a date. You know... Inheritance and all..." Bastian said now with his chin on the table looking daze.

Malia nodded "Well, first off manners dictate no elbows on the table," she said softly a small smile on her face "and secondly if she's anything like my grandmother she is rather strict correct?" she asked raising an eyebrow

"Ehhh.. Define strict." Bastion said raising his head off the table staring into space with a extreme horrified face. "Ehh.. Ehh.. Yeah.. Strict you could say. But I prefer devil."

Malia nodded "okay, I just need one more piece of information, does she like books, and does she prefer the time without all this technology?" she asked him softly

"All I can think she does is spend money, lots of it. She'll eat lots of pastries and goes out on expensive vacations all the time."
Bastion said pondering.

Malia sighed looking down at her lap "oh well, I'll just have to wing it" she said softly more to herself than to him

"Hey hey Bass!" A middle aged man said beginning to pull out a chair to allow a women of similar age to sit down next to Bastion and Malia.

"Hmm?" Bastion said looking up at the man, he was dressed in a weird shade of brown coat with a Irish green looking plaid shirt under it, and a purple tie with orange flowers on it. "DAD.. YOU PROMISED ME YOU WOULDN'T EMBARRASS ME BY WEARING THAT IF I BRING A DATE!"

"Oh don't bother arguing with your father." The lady next to him said, she is wearing a tight white dress showing her cleavage. "Better men then you tried, no matter how many times I hide that thing he always seems to find it.

"Aaaah. Stop hatin. Be a player duuude." Bastion's father said trying to act cool.

"Aagh." Bastion said head banging to the table.

"Ooooh and who's this pretty lady son?" He said with a strong happy attitude grabbing Malia's hands gently smoothing her skin on his hand. "My name is Alexander Jedediah Sin Clair!" He said proudly. "But you can just call me Jeddy if you want." Whispering into Malia's ears very perverted like.

Malia stifled a giggle as she heard Bastian complain to his father. She then introduced herself to him "I'm Malia, you can call me way too young for you" she said smirking

(Hello miss, nice of mistypes xD, sorry. I don't want to be complaining but I'm having a hard time reading some of it..)

Bastion seemingly unconscious from embarrassment, stands up steamed, and grabs his fathers ear. Directing him away from the table. Bastion then walks back. "That takes care of that." He said dusting off his hands showing he took care of business.

"BAAAAAASTTTTIIIIOOOOON!" Jeddy said running up towards the table crying. "Well! *sniff* Why did you throw me into the pond! Am I not you father figure anymore." As Jeddy sobs and goes on complaining Bastion is speaking over him to Malia.

"Sorry about him... He's.. Well.. You know.."

Malia nodded and looked at Bastian's father "if you plan on making a good impression you must behave, be on your best behavior and dress nicely, not mismatch" she said trying to rein in the insanity knowing she would do exactly that for her mother who was exactly like Jeddy

Jeddy stiffened up very adult like and straighten his tie. "I'll be back." He said sound confidently, and he walks away.

"Aah, thank you for that." The lady sitting at the table said. "Oh I don't think I acquainted myself, I'm Jeddy's sister Rasp. Nice to meet you."
