Is there any difference between the dream world and the real one?

I'm assuming that the dream realm is like FF tactics^2 where it can be anything from steam-punk to medieval and back.

i'll assume i have no need to describe the land until further info is given hahahaha

There is a slight difference in time and culture. The normal world is our time and in the city. The dream realm is behind. The dream people are very old fashioned. No technology, all letters are hand written, people walk, and street vendors are common. They have current plumbing though, and they believe in good hygeine. I was actually thinking somewhere along the lines of an advanced Rome.

It is not really Greek or Roman, that was just kind of what it was based off of. They won't care who you make googly eyes at chocobo.

-What would happen when no tech meets with a lot of tech?
