ive kbeen drawing lolita-ish clothes for someones OC/avi, but since i dont see this kind of clothes around much, its more difficult than usual....i think ill check out the site you posted :P

erm... >is 26 and is a real life lolita< Yeaaah... all this set up ^^; it's not pretend its things I actually do. Please do not think less of me because of that. I actually shop at bodyline and places like that. The outfit my avi is wearing, is very very similar to something I have in real life. I also make and sell jewelry and head dresses... it's how I pay for a lot of things. It's a funny little world I live in. On a side note I've been drawing and designing clothes for about eh 14 years? I also have a manga coming out. The best advice I can give you about lolita clothing design Ninja, is take a look at a lot of Victorian and steam punk styles, and lighten them up. Never be afraid to go over board, or worried the character will look odd or too young. Lolita is an actual respected clothing style... and have outfits going upwards... for example a coat I nearly bought once was ... %300. The money actually went towards buying a bunch of copic markers. I don't even want to talk about my art supplies..... On a final note, I love poupee girl! It's where I got my little strawberry emote from. Also... sorry I poofed. ^^; I have a couple very large projects I have deadlines for and it's not a pretty sight. |

Something I could never dedicate myself to! A lot of work. Heck, most days I can barely be bothered to do more than pull my hair back into a ponytail. So I actually have a lot of respect toward anyone who can dedicate themselves to the Lolita lifestyle. |

Alright~ yes, I do have an esty shop but it's currently down, I haven't made enough items lately. I want to knit a bunch of kitty hats! Though I'd be happy to take some photographs of things I've made simply to show. Long story short I do a lot of crafts, when I was about eh 8/9ish? I promised myself I'd learn at least one new skill a year. Needless to say I have a lot of hobbies. |
